We had a great little holiday here. We had an electric pitch, pitches are nicely spaced apart so not to cramped together, the showers and toilets were very clean. I liked that the washing up area was opposite the kids park so much little boy could play whilst I washed up. Various food places on site, fish and chips, breakfast van and delicious coffee bar!

Great campsite, pitches are available with electric hook up. The shower block is clean and comfortable. There is a pizza bus that comes to visit, and a small playground for the kids. The beach is walkable but It's a bit steep and unsuitable for pushchairs and alike. However nothing is too far away there is a supermarket and more beaches just a short drive away.

Definitely coming back

Liked: Location and cliff/beach.
Clean throughout.
Staff friendly and welcoming.
Offers longer term siting for those this might be of interest to.
Chip shop and cafe van, both used and both good quality and value for money, however limited opening times. Cafe only sat and Sunday mornings and chip shop section only around 4 times slots a week so some days no food available to buy on site.

Disliked: Unreliable bus network (clearly nothing the site has any control over but is a factor if people are hoping to head out to Lowestoft etc)
Lacking in quanity of bathroom facilities. Luckily I did ask for and was given a site close to one of these but is something to bear in mind when booking. The facilities are good but only only 2 blocks for around 3 fields. One was closed for some reason on my second day do then only one block for everyone. Might be an idea to add a few portable loos in other locations around the site?
I didn't explore the area outside of the site much (as 3 x buses didn't turn up and Uber had no drivers available) so unsure whether shops or places to eat nearby. Didn't spot any.

Amazing campsite! Toilets and shower blocks are really clean and are cleaned several times a day. Great location, with straps down to the beach. 3 mile walk into Lowestoft, or a convenient bus from outside. Loads of different pitches available and holiday let's. We have a camper and awning, so stay on the hard standing with grass next to it. I recommend rock breaker pegs if you have an awning, with a good hammer as the ground near the hard standing can be really hard! Good size pitches though with plenty of space. Food vans available different nights of the week, coffee van in the mornings.

Liked: Lovely and clean site, bathrooms were spacious and spotless, we only stayed for one night as a last minute thing but we’re really impressed. Steps straight off the back of the site down to the beach, and despite the heat we virtually had the beach to ourselves! Added bonus was the chip shop van so we didn’t even need to look!

Disliked: I did not find anything to dislike about this site.

Liked: Very clean and tidy. Nice big pitches. Lovey fish and chips available thur fri sat sun. Little coffee caravan but didn't use this. Nice walk to a very quiet beach. Facilities clean. Warm welcome and very friendly

Disliked: Just relieved we were well away from the camping fields as they were filled with very large groups of campers who were definitely having a good time...and using the bushes as a toilet. This was only at weekend and the site was deserted down there from Sunday lunch.

Liked: Was a lovely site. This was my first time camping with just me and my young daughter. It was a simple site. The staff were very friendly. The facilities were clean and in good condition. There were food trucks for breakfast, coffee, fish and chips and ice cream. The beach was easily accessible with some steps and was a lovely beach.

Disliked: My only dislike was setting up in the rain.. but that’s definitely not on the site. It made it all the more of an adventure.
(No wifi -but not an issue and no review needed)

Liked: We stayed in the seaside field and was spacious. We’ve been before and love the tranquillity of the site. If you require a quiet, close to the beach site, the Hollies is the one. The services are sufficient - my husband did say he webt to use the toilet a. Couple of times and they were closed for cleaning - this is only a positive!
