What a wonderful discovery! Came across this be chance on social media and as I’ve always wanted to stay in a converted coach it was a must to book especially as it was during the Kent and East Sussex railway diesel gala!
Home from home accommodation that is very clean and comfortable with outstanding wifi !
A wonderful deck area to enjoy the stunning rural views and a handy viewing area of the platform of Bodiam station.
Very comfortable beds and great showers but the very best part of this experience was the host,who simply could not do enough for you and it was very reassuring to know I had help if required as I was on my own for two night of the stay as this is very rural and incredibly quiet.
Very handy for the castle and the railway ..
highly recommend! Cannot wait to return .

This is an amazing place to stay in. An old train coach lovingly restored and converted into a comfy fully furnished two bedroom home away from home. Nestled behind Bodiam train station it is in a prime position to view the old trains that arrive here several times a day on the KSER line. Around the other side of the coach are wonderful views across the countryside. Peaceful, clean, comfortable and quirky. Bryan will ensure that your stay is perfect from beginning to end. A good pub that serves food and also a cafe for breakfast or lunch are literally a 5 minute walk. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!!

What a wonderful place to spend a few days in Spring beside a steam locomotive station and a short walk from one of the prettiest medieval castle in England. In great comfort and without the inconvenience of fellow tourists or neighbours. And all for modest cost.
Book early or you will be
disappointed as word is spread fast about this hiden gem.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! We spent my birthday weekend at the carriage and have had a fabulous time - watching the trains from the decking, listening to the birds, star spotting at night - even live music when the Ale Train arrived one evening! We all had a brilliant time and I can’t recommend it enough - family and friends who visited were so impressed. The carriage is great inside with everything you need - we were made to feel like part of a big family with KESR and will definitely be back! Thank you so much Bryan!

Wonderful stay here with the family. The coach was kitted out perfectly, comfy beds and was a great place to relax. Very quiet at night but still near the Hub for breakfast and very accessible via the train line for activities both in and around the castle, plus in Tenterden. Great weekend, will be hopefully coming back!

Quirky , comfortable 2 bedroom Railway Carriage accommodation. Everything provided for our stay. Excellent showers and plenty of hot water. Luxurious beds . Plenty to do in the area other than riding on the trains. Great Pub 3 minutes away.
Very attentive host.
Would definitely recommend.
