My brother and I had a fabulous supper this evening. Wild mushroom risotto and haddock and prawn fishcakes. Both dishes absolutely superb and perfect-sized portions. Where on earth would you get such decent food on a Monday night? Come here more please. We must frequent the places that serve up such delicious food.

We had a lovely stay for the weekend to attend a wedding. The staff were wonderful and worked extremely hard to make sure you had a nice stay. The pub itself has good atmosphere and does delicious food- we had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and thought the food was delicious and excellent quality. Small touches also hit the spot, like fresh cookies in the room and honeycomb with coffees. Would highly recommend!

We have just got back from the hotel, for the price it exceeded expectations. |In the midst of a big storm, our room was a cosy retreat, actually had a fantastic deep sleep, and woke refreshed ( even after a few the night prior).|The room was clean to a high standard and good hot shower. |Staff are very professional and attentive. |Glass and tablewear high-quality and good cocktails from the bar. |Breakfast is excellent, with no grease, could not fault.|I would recommend to others, great place.

Had a lovely stay during our visit to the Cotswolds. Rooms were large enough and very comfortable. Very fitting decoration. The staff was amazing. Great breakfast as well. Would recommend to everybody. Situated in the middle of all of the beautiful towns.

Ok, negatives out of the way first:
We booked early November for a “Christmas Lunch” for the 23rd of December. On arrival they didn’t have us down for the “Christmas Lunch” This was disappointing & we had to settle for the normal menu. We were shown to our table where a dog lunged at me from under another table, barking & front paws landing on my body. Luckily the owner quickly pulled the dog away. I love dogs but the sudden appearance of this barking dog did startle me…
Good points:
The restaurant area was nice, the staff were attentive & the food was very nice.
Would we return?… Yes we would…
Thank you…
