Italy was the third trip I have taken with Educational Adventures.
All the trips have been wonderful . The groups have always been small and the adventures educational,, fun, and on each trip we met with the local people and partook of their regional foods and crafts.
Sarah our guide made sure each of us was enjoying the trip and getting to see what we wanted to and enjoying the local culture.

This is my third trip with this company. This Italy trip was all I wanted and more. Very compatible traveling companions, dependable tour coordinator and the driver was from Perugia so he knew his way around and took us to non-tourist places. Also a great mix of some churches (not too many), some fine art (not too much), interesting Etruscan ruins, alternating days with a chocolate class at Perugia Chocolate; making pasta completely by hand at a farm with a warm Italian mom and her handsome son as well as donkeys, chickens, sheep, pigs, cows, chickens and a dog who would play fetch for hours; and a class painting a classic Italian design plate. Enough free time to explore, enough guided activity to feel comfortable in the locations, learn about them, and meet the inhabitants. Great food, comfortable hotel. It was so nice to stay in Perugia and take day trips to other hill towns- Assisi, Orvieto, and Cortona with a driver who navigated the narrow twisting roads with skill and knowledge. This small group tour gave the group the ability to modify the amount of time we spent on some activities as well as the subjects discussed by the very competent, well spoken local guides in each location.
Money well spent for a rewarding vacation experience.

I want to thank you for organizing an AMAZING trip to Cuba for my husband and me! We enjoyed meeting lots of friendly people, seeing a number of sites, and generally immersing ourselves in the Cuban culture. One of the highlights of the trip was getting to know Roberto, our tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, was very accommodating and helpful, and spoke wonderful English (and Spanish from what we could understand). We have wonderful memories of our Cuban adventure and will certainly be recommending The Educational Adventures Company to friends and family who are considering a trip to Cuba!

We had an excellent trip in Cuba. Sadi, our guide was very good and professional. She was full of enthusiasm and always willing to help in every way she could. Her recommendations for restaurants and other activities were great. She was knowledgeable. Modes of transportation were excellent and we had a very good safe driver. I would highly recommend your tour company to my friends.

Some of our highlights of activities included in the itinerary were: salsa dance class, our conversation with Lily and her husband and farm to table cooking lesson. We all loved the fact that it involved individually owned organizations and that is what grass root tourism is all about!!

One of the best experiences I've had! I went with the group in June of 2015 for the summer dance trip, with a group of all ladies!! Jen and Sara were very knowledgeable and organized. There was never a dull moment! If you are interested in traveling to Cuba you NEED to go with this group! We stayed in Casa's with local families and were able to enjoy home-cooked meals and listen to their stories. This is not a touristy experience, you really get to know the Cuban people and immerse yourself in their beautiful culture. I can't wait to book my next trip with them!

I was fortunate enough to find Sara and Educational Adventures when I was planning a family trip to Cuba. Making sure I met all the rules and regulations was daunting. Once I found Sara, she made it easy. We corresponded via email and phone. She spent time understanding what type of trip we were trying to create, the makeup of our group, and any special interests. Sara was very knowledgeable about travel to Cuba and shared her experiences. She presented me with a custom itinerary, which included all the costs, what was included, and what to expect. We booked the trip, and had one of the most memorable family vacations ever. Cuba was amazing. Our tour guide was wonderful, and even further customized our experience as he got to know us. I did have a moment of panic before we left – what if no one was there to meet me? What if the trip was not as described? All of that worry disappeared when someone was there waiting for us at the airport with a sign. Everything was exactly as described and perfectly orchestrated. I cannot say enough good things about Educational Adventures. I would absolutely book another custom vacation with them.
