A massive thank you to the amazing staff at the Dolphin Hotel. We have been coming for a few years now and every time we have the best experience. The staff are exceptional and nothing is too much hassle. We hope to be back once the refurb has taken place. Thank you for making our time with you wonderful and for helping us to make memories. An extra special thank you for the amazing cooked breakfast too!

This hotel was amazing, we stayed here last weekend for the bank holiday in a family room. The hospitality and service from staff was excellent. The chef who was working at the weekend was so friendly and helpful. On top of cooking amazing food he could not do enough to help and accommodate me with whatever I asked. The breakfast waiter was also brilliant, very polite and helpful. The breakfast menu has a great variety to choose from. The room was spotless, very spacious and far better than what we had expected as the website had outdated photos. The price was very reasonable for this time of year too. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Daniel, Harvey & Dylan. Varied breakfast menu and very well cooked, as was the evening menu. Large car park and outside area for drinks in the sun. Rooms very comfortable, ensuite a little small but well planned and shower was extremely good. Stairs are a little steep but manageable even for someone with knee & hip replacements. A lovely village and very pretty. Would definitely return.

This is a really lovely hotel, with a great restaurant and bar. It’s located 2min walk from the beach on the high street, with loads of free onsite parking. |So the hotel is lovely with loads of history of Beer, you can spend hours just looking at the walls. It’s clean and tidy. The staff were excellent and so friendly, nice, lovely and helpful. The rooms have everything you need. The food was delicious, an amazing breakfast and a perfect steak. Lovely cider and beer. Had the best stay so thank you Dolphin Hotel and we will definitely be back next year.

Lovely food even if we only had baguettes (one x prawn & one x ham, cheese & chutney) came with very large tasty side salad. We had a Side Order of proper chips, one portion enough for both of us, yummy.|Sat outside in the sunshine, peace & quiet. |The pub inside looked very nice - would go back.

Just spent 5 nights in the hotel. Breakfast brilliant choices excellent service. Day menu very good. This was the 4th or 5th visit to the hotel it’s now under new management and this was our best visit for service food and friendly atmosphere

We weren’t sure as some of the reviews on here aren’t great but we are SO glad we came here. ||Large portion with freshly roasted carrots and parsnips, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blanket and Yorkshire pudding.and real home cooked roast potatoes. ||The staff are all so friendly and helpful. ||It’s a lovely hotel/restaurant that appears to have been recently redecorated. ||We wouldn’t hesitate in coming back for another meal next time we’re in lively Beer.

Excellent food. Very tasty Mediterranean tart. Pate was brilliant. Great large portion sizes. Friendly staff with a warn welcome. Steak was cooked exactly as I like it.
