The Den & The Glen - Aberdeen

A great day out for people of all ages! I'm a wheelchair user and did find access very challenging, they allow you to drive down the hill but many of the areas are not step free, or are so steep it's unsafe. It was great to see what I could and it was still enjoyable, but wish there was more access info on their website. I would've brought a second person to help manoeuvre my wheelchair. Also you may struggle to find disabled parking. All the disabled spots were taken by families without blue badges, so you'll have to use the family spaces which will mean crossing the uneven car park and hoping not to get hit. They do have goats and pigs which were a pleasant surprise though!

Fantastic day out with the kids for a fraction of a cost compairing to England! Half a day to visit all outside(Glen) and 90mins for the Inside(den) this will drain off completely any kids so they can have a nice sleep on the way back. Food on the restaurant is also very affordable, fresh and tasty. Toilets are very clean and have a small sinks for toddlers too!

It's a good day out. My little girl is only 19 months and doesn't understand the creepy statues, though she didn't understand why stitch looked like a rabbit and not actually like stitch. The glen has a really good stretch of park facilities like swings and climbing frames it also really appealed to my little girl.

The soft play area is really good has a good range of areas for different ages. The food was good and I personally thought it was good value for money.

Worth the trip from inverness to come here.

Some new characters would be nice. The kids didnt no some off them as there from years ago when I was a child. Nice to see some play areas for kids and plenty benches to have picnics on to.

This venue Is a favourite of my daughters. On sunny days we spend an hour walking around all the sections within the glen whist she cuddles her favourite statues of Barney the dinosaur, In The Night Garden’s, Daisy, Iggle Piggle and Maka Paka. Humply Dumpty and The Three Little Pigs are must sees for her as well. There Is a small tuck shop out in the park or you can eat fast food back in the Soft Play area in The Den

Visited the Glen (Storybook Glen) for the first time today since I was a kid myself. A nice day out for families and good value. Around 100 statues of nursery rhyme and movie characters - some better than others!

We had a fantastic day at the Den and the Glen. A great mix of outdoor and indoor fun. Our five- and eight-year-olds had the time of their lives. Just wish there were more places like this in the UK. Excellent value for money and couldn't recommend more highly. Outdoor areas (the Glen) were well maintained. So many characters and the tree hunt was the icing on the cake for our eight-year-old. The staff was also really friendly. Well done the Den and the Glen!
