We had a pleasant stay for three nights. |Excellent breakfasts and lovely staff. Very comfy bed and linen. Reasonably priced.|It's clean and comfortable; the bathroom needs a refresh (some cracked floor tiles, sink and a chip out of the bath) but none of these affected our stay. |We would book a room in the rear of the property when/if we return as the front is onto a busy road and junction...with the warm weather we had to close the windows to cut out the noise.

We stayed here last week for one night. Great staff, they provided excellent service in a professional and friendly way. Fabulous breakfast. Excellent location for exploring Ilkley. However we stayed here approx 10 years ago and I don't think there has been any maintenance or improvements since then. There are definitely signs of wear and tear though I would disagree with a previous review as we felt everywhere was clean, especially bed linen and towels. All in all a great stay.

On the afternoon of Sunday, 1st June my wife and I checked-in for a ‘’relaxing’’ stay at the Bistrot Pierre Crescent Inn, Ilkley after travelling from the Midlands to visit family in Yorkshire on my birthday. Upon checking-in we were offered a pokey hotel-room called the ARNCLIFFE, on the first floor. We found the hotel room to be very tired and to a poor housekeeping standard with threadbare carpet, cobwebs, poor cleanliness in the bathroom, poor furniture, and tv (see attached photos). The worst downside was the constant sound and vibrations coming from the restaurant kitchen extraction directly below us. This was rather unfortunate as I had a tiring day, so I was looking forward to a ‘’relaxing’’ hour before our evening meal. Anyway, there was no chance to being able to relax as advertised, so I returned downstairs to ask the Duty Manager if we could move to a better hotel room. We were offered another room that was even worse, and after consulting the Manager we were not allowed an up-grade to a better room. However, the Duty Manager assured us the kitchen extractor fan would be switched off at 9pm, so at least we could sleep through the night.|The next morning, I complained to the Manager (Peter) that the hotel had not delivered the relaxing 4-star hotel experience we were expecting. Only for Peter to encourage me to take the matter further. As he agreed the Arncliffe room is inferior, so he could pressurise the Company to invest in a refurbishment. Although, Peter had assured me the hotel was busy that night, there were only two other couples in for breakfast. |Anyway, we left the Bistrot Pierre Crescent Inn at Ilkley feeling undervalued as a paying customer, and will not return. If this is an example of this Company’s hospitality, it is no wander the organisation is in trouble with several of its sites closing-down.

This hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Ilkley, with great access to surrounding areas and the countryside. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts that we had were good. ||However, the level of cleanliness in our room was completely unacceptable, with dust and dirt in drawers, on other surfaces and also affecting extractor fans. There was a general feel of neglect to the fabric of the room (it was one of the suites, with a kitchen area and sitting area), with marked, stained and scratched surfaces, a detached shower seal and the handle to the door into room insecure and at one point detaching from its mount.||Staff attempted to rectify some of the issues, but we certainly didn't want to spend all of our time reporting and managing issues with the room. Again, to emphasise, staff were very friendly, and certainly responded immediately with the problem with the door to the room. Perhaps there's a problem at a higher level with support for staff and overall investment in the property.||I was tempted to give a lower rating, but I think that would have been unfair on staff.

The hotel room (a suite) was perfectly fine except for a leaking shower. The breakfast was good and the lady in the reception/restaurant most often was very pleasant during our stay. However, once we left we were double charged, totalling over £1000. My partner rang twice, neither person passed on the details to the manager. He finally spoke to someone sensible and a pending refund appeared on the credit card, only to disappear the next day. We are now going to charge back via the credit card company. This is not acceptable behaviour and whilst we will get the money back one wonders what people paying with a debit card would do if two lots of £500 were taken. Shockingly bad and I’m afraid I would not stay there again or any hotel connected to the company. We spent the next week of our holidays trying to sort out a Bistro Pierre issue.

Spent 1 night here on April 3rd 2025. Room was very clean and facilities included tea, coffee and milk with a kettle. ||Shower was very good and hot with shower gel provided. Bed was comfortable which meant a great nights sleep. ||Beer and wine provided had a good variety and not expensive. Good wines at affordable prices. ||Breakfast was very good and guacamole on toast with tea and a cappuccino was all included in the price. ||Overall, value for money was excellent. £113 for 2 people with breakfast included. ||We will be back!

We stayed in a superior King room, This room was in an appalling state of cleanliness especially the bathroom. The state of decor was appalling and the curtains couldn't be closed due to be being showered in dust and filth. I will add photos to show the state of the room. The drop down blind in rhe bathroom was completely discoloured where it had been founded and rhe net curtains were dotted with black mold.
The restaurant during rhe evening was good but breakfast was awful. Raw sausages were served, cold beans and a cappuccino that was like a flat white with excess milk and no foam and Luke walm. I have stayed in 100s of hotels all.over the world and have never been so dissatisfied in the cleanliness of the room. Had there been another hotel available within the small town of Ilkley my wife and I wouldn't of stayed one night at all. Absolutely disgusting.
