Lovely country pub near to Goodwood races.||Stayed for 2 nights. Check in was easy and the lady who greeted us and took our food order was beyond helpful. In fact all the staff were wonderful and really went above and beyond for example trying to find me a phone charger and also asking if we needed dinner reservations the next day. ||Rooms were clean and fit for purpose.||Rooms have a mini fridge but ours wasnโ€™t plugged in but we plugged it in ourselves and waited for the drinks inside to cool. ||Reasonably priced and tasty food in the pub restaurant. Proper home cooking was enjoyed by my mum and I.||The only drawback was the booking advertised breakfast included. I would expect some form of cooked breakfast but it was fruit and yogurt with pastries in the room. We donโ€™t like pastries and would just expect a cooked breakfast on a two night trip away for the price. ||Very clean and would stay again if we ever went to Goodwood races again. Uber drivers in the area too!

This little gem is amazing! Beautiful rooms at a reasonable price which were impeccably clean! Had a lovely dinner as well and the staff (or owners, couldn't work it out!) offer an amazing service. Nothing was too big or too small for them. Keep up the great work guys!

Had a pleasant meal here for lunch. Everything was cooked just right and full of flavour. The vibe was spot on too, laid-back and welcoming. Always nice when a place feels this easy and genuine. Definitely worth a visit if youโ€™re passing through.

Brilliant 24 hours at The Blue Bell in Cocking. Great food, decent drinks and a lovely room. Special mention to the staff who were friendly and attentive. Great base to explore the Sussex Downs and will certainly come back when we are in the area. New management from February this year; Good luck guys and I hope it all goes well

Such kind and lovely staff. Lovely to see so much veggie options onto her menu and that the didn't skip on making the veggie food great. Best halloumi burger I have ever had and the portions were huge which was perfect after a big hike. Fair prices and the staff were lovely and very dog friendly.

We stayed at the Bluebell whilst cycling the South Downs Way last month (July) Boyd was very helpful and communicative before and during our stay . Accommodating our e-bikes and helpful suggestions for our trip ! The room was fab, comfortable and they had kindly left complimentary breakfast items in the mini fridge (thank you ) their small shop was useful for our trip as well ! Highly recommend the Bluebell . Great first night stop for our three day trip .
