I struggled for a while looking for the perfect job opportunity for me and when looking on the best connection website I applied for one which I thought I would love however had no experience. I was contacted by Georgina who was absolutely amazing and had me in an interview the client as soon as she could. Although not successful in that position, she kept in contact with me and made me aware of any other positions that came up and she thought was a good fit for me. I have recently just been interviewed for a different position I would never have thought I’d be able to get and been offered the job which I’m absolutely over the moon about! Without Georgina and her team I would still be stressing myself out and struggling to find myself a career path. I honestly cannot thank them all enough for the work they have done to help me and will forever be so so grateful! This was my first time using an agency so wasn’t sure what to expect. However there was nothing to worry about, Lucy and Sophie in the Carlisle office were fantastic from the registration process onwards. Always only an e-mail or call away, my 18weeks has flown in and I am now employed by the placement I was given. Treat me nicely until several things came up during the course of my contract that either made me late for work or forced to take a day off.

I don't drive and relied on lifts to work. My first lift got the sack and my 2nd injured herself on the job. I had to rely on Stagecoach services on days I couldn't find a lift.

I was met with aggression and an uncaring tone towards my predicament. Even when I had a chest infection and took myself out of work for 2 days to recover (I needed way longer looking back on it) they seemed annoyed.

Would go into more details but we would be here all day. Just avoid Agency work like the plague. Unless you're foreign or don't mind being treated like an ant in a colony, you will never be treated with respect and your personal situations are just excuses so you can take a day off work... At least that's what I was told

An Indian dude who barely spoke English and tried getting people to invest in his takeaway during shifts got offered a permanent position at the factory within a week of starting, meanwhile me, who busted my a** doing whatever I got told to do and functioned off barely 6-7 hours sleep most nights, got told I was lazy and lacked respect for the job.

If you value your mental health, steer clear.

A very good agency for finding you work. Not all the jobs are ideal, but if you want to work and earn money, they will help you keep the "wolf from the door ", so I can't really fault them. I'm talking about the Carlisle branch btw. Thank you for everything
