If you're looking for an excellent travel company then Thames Travel is it. Even though it seems easy these days to sort your travel plans on-line with the plethora of competing apps, you don't always get what you think you've booked.
There is no substitute for expertise and deep knowledge of the travel market, destinations and individual resorts, especially when you've never been somewhere before. We booked a much needed family break at half-term with Thames. It needed to be just right and it was - they nailed it! We highly recommend Christian and Claire who run this long standing family company.

I couldn’t recommend Thames Travel more highly - they always find just the right holiday for us - from our honeymoon, to holidays with friends to us as a family - from when they were toddlers to having teenagers now. From skiing, to mini breaks, summer sun and more recently planning a big adventure to Asia, they couldn’t be more helpful and their attention to detail is second to none! Absolutely love this travel agents they are kind and efficient. Claire and Christian give a fantastic personal service. I did not have to worry about a thing they did everything for me. Claire answered all my questions and nothing at all was a bother. It's great having an expert at hand that knows the hotels that they recommend, through years of experience. Communication was great and I will be using them for any holidays in the future. We had the most fabulous time in Estepona. Claire has been literally fabulous and I cannot recommend this Travel Agent enough, Thank you Thames Travel.

Thames Travel organised a family safari to Tanzania for us on the recommendation of friends. Christian really helped me with options and was very flexible with my list of questions. He responded very quickly and I felt very confident in the itinerary.

We have just come back and the holiday was amazing, exceeding our expectations. All the travel arrangements went smoothly and everyone was very professional which meant we could just enjoy the experience.

We've been using Thames Travel for over 25 years(!) - Christian (and his parents before him!) and his team have consistently provided a stellar 5 star service. Great at offering ideas and advice, and then taking care of all the admin as well as ensuring where applicable, that local ground support is in place. They are particularly good at putting together complicated bespoke packages taking into account personal preferences (airlines, type of hotels, transport) and have remarkable patience in dealing with my constant requests/revisions!! Highly recommended!

Nick and Christian helped me book a family summer holiday to Greece. They are both extremely helpful, knowledgeable and invested in providing their clients with excellent customer support and satisfaction ensuring the perfect trip away.

We stayed at The Potidea Palace in Halkidiki for 10 days all inclusive. It is beautifully situated on the sandy beach but also has a large swimming pool. Food and drinks were good. This is not a place for older teenagers but 0-13 is fine. I would recommend for a family holiday but it is not near any towns and you need to travel by taxi to visit areas of local interest.

We first enquired in Thames Travel when planning a special family holiday. It had to suit three generations from the ages of 6 to 79- for 11 of us.
Claire and Christian, in their usual welcoming and friendly style, were incredibly knowledgeable and found us a selection of suitable holidays. Once decided on one, they handled all the admin/ planning and ensured all our needs were met. We had an amazing holiday in Mauritius, at a great resort- everyone loved it.
I would definitely recommend Thames Travel - they are Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!!
