I came here for a visit just before the snow arrived as it's been years since I last came...
There's car parking next to the centre with plenty of spaces available.
I didn't manage to go inside the centre as they were just closing... Oooops!! Bad timing!!
I had a smashing walk down the Silverhill Trail heading towards Skegby with my pet dog (he's not too fond of snow nowadays)... there's lots of trails heading off into all different directions and plenty of places to explore ...
It's fabulous for dog walking and there's miles of trails for walking and running, especially if you want to head off towards Pleasley Pit Museum...
That's a place I'm planning on going to soon as I've heard good reports about it...
There's beautiful countryside to be seen in any direction...
A great way to spend a day ...
So come and visit... You'll be pleased you did!!
Happy Days...

We stopped whist on a walk from the Pleasley pit trail. Wow what an amazing place, the volunteers are so friendly and welcoming. The sausage and bacon cobs are very tasty and everything is reasonably priced. It felt like this was the heart of the local community. We'll definitely be back soon! We have been back and it was just as fantastic

Wow!! Never been here before and what a little diamond of a find.
Great value breakfast and just by tidying up ourselves the place is lovely and clean.
How lovely to have all the mining memories there to educate the future generations, whilst being able to share lovely food and chat with the older generations.
Thank you 😁

We had a lovely circular walk around the Teversal Trail. Arrived at about 8.15am and the car park was empty. Arriving back at around 11am, the car park was nearly full. We had a very reasonably priced and tasty bacon cob & coffee. Staff were friendly in the cafe, well recommended.

Great walk around, great scenery and not too busy. Clearer sign posting would be nice to see best routes round from actually where you are, very confusing whats already up. Was very muddy leading upto the walk which you had to go through to get there, family with pushchair had to turn back.

Lovely walk with various trails if you're adventurous. Silver Hill circular. Teversal/Tibshelf out and back.

You can walk, ride, take a picnic, go on a long walk or a short walk. Beautiful when the weather is great, can get quite muddy in non gravelled paths when it's not.

This is great for walkabout or bike trails, the paths are well maintained dog's and children love the fresh air and open space this place as to offer, there's a great voluntary run cafe at the main car park, food and drinks is 1st class, volunteers are cheerful and very polite, you have to give the cafe a try you won't be disappointed, there's tables and chairs in side and out, toilet is inside the cafe, car park is wheelchair friendly as is the cafe.
