It was closed and barriered off when I visited. You could access the amusements arcade which seems to proffer a large assortment of machines. The actual pier walk itself was well and truly closed and currently, calling it "Grand" is most certainly a misnomer. It is tatty, rundown and ramshackle. A disappointing letdown.

Absolutely wonderful time here! Offers stunning panoramic views of the lovely sea and the neighbouring hills and famed sea houses. The people are pleasant and the shoppes are truly inviting and afford a variety of goods.
The pier is beautifully designed and perfect for watching sunrise and sunsets.
Very highly recommended!

Old pier , has a few amusements nothing flashy , amused us for 30 mins . Plenty of parking on the street, and the beach right outside.

We absolutely love it here, it has a nostalgic feel having some of the older coin games. We went in the week (in school time) as my son has anxiety problems and there wasn't many other people there.It is a shame however that the last half of the pier is shut now but you can see it is in need of some work.

Lovely place, the town is great with cafés, lovely shops etc easy parking, the pier and the walk along the front is great well worth a visit

An average scattering of machines, dated and not appealing, when compared with other "Grand pier Amusements".
More suited towards families, rather than couples.
These are my opinions only and shouldn't dissuade others from visiting this attraction and forming their own hypothesis.

Long promenade to walk and travel in a mobility scooter which is a bonus. Some interesting Georgian buildings to see. Good to see the pier although the end looked dilapidated! Only downside was not enough ramped/sloped/drop down pavements or specific disabled parking spaces to get onto the promenade for scooters/wheelchairs.
