Lovely walk. I started off at the cafe and done the longer loop up to the summit then down into the forest and back up again. It took me about an hour. Nice and varied scenery. We went on a walk to the top of Tegg’s Nose and the views were absolutely amazing! The trail was well-marked and had a great mix of woodland and open areas. Once you reach the summit, you’re rewarded with stunning panoramic views across the Cheshire plains — it’s definitely worth the climb. A perfect spot for a peaceful hike, a family day out, or just to enjoy some fresh air and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous location. Great walks where you encounter everything- bodies of water , wildlife and elevation. 2 routes - a shorter easy one which is suited to all ages amd abilities and a longer more challenging route if youre feeling energetic

A steep down/up circular walk with panoramic views. Sturdy footwear advised, plus water and a snack. There are many off shoot paths leading to Shuttlingsloe and Macclesfield forest amongst others. The reward at the end is the excellent cafe serving tasty cakes and snacks. The car park is pay to park, but there are free toilets.

Great spot to access the Country Park itself and all the stunning surrounding countryside and landscape.

Plenty of secure parking, an on-site café (The Nose Coffee) and a multitude of walks emanating from the centre itself.

Totally child & dog friendly with a selection of picnic benches arranged around the varioys adjacent grassed areas.

Stunning views back across to the nearby town of Macclesfield. This area is dotted with four reserviours which supply water locally for drinking and yo keep the canal topped-up.
