We stayed at Hygge for a long weekend in September 2024. The most beautiful, well appointed property with wonderful estuary views with just a short stroll into town. Harriet and her team ensured the property was immaculate and the welcome gifts were very much appreciated . We will book again .

We had the most wonderful time at Flying Swans. The house is 5 minutes walk in to central Salcombe but it’s so quiet and peaceful. It’s also right next to the water so we were able to paddle board from the house to the local beaches and into the town. It’s an amazing location. The house itself is stunning, it has beautiful views and is superbly decorated. The house has a lovely sitting area overlooking the sea and it’s so sheltered you can sit there late in to the evening. We can’t wait to return.

We stayed at The Brewery, Fore Street, Salcombe, in September, 2024.
This is an outstanding property in all respects.
We have been holidaying in Salcombe for decades, renting many properties through numerous agencies.
The property description is accurate.
It is a family home, used by the owners for their family and therefore well thought through. Everything works and, works well.
It does not, however, feel like you are staying in someone else’s place as some holiday rentals do.
It is equipped and presented to the highest of standards with tasteful decor and user friendly gadgetry throughout. The beds are top quality and a good night’s sleep is guaranteed here.
The position on Fore street is wonderful and allows for the easiest of departures in the morning, to the ferry, the pontoons or the coffee shops in the town.
The views from the top floor living area over the harbour are a delight to wake up to, come rain or shine and the views for the top (of three!) patios, is sublime.
You are close to the action but The Brewery is the perfect retreat too.
We will certainly re book. This is a great find, a hidden secret in the heart of this fabulous town.

The Brewery is a really lovely property, right in the centre of Salcombe, but set back from the road, so feels very private. The sunny, tiered terrace behind the house is an amazing space, with beautiful views of the estuary from the top level. The two main bedrooms are large and beautifully furnished. The third twin room on the ground floor is smaller and darker but still lovely. There is plenty of room to safely store paddle boards, life jackets, etc, outside. Modern, clean and spacious, this house is definitely somewhere we will return to.

Harriet at Taylor Made provided an excellent service, responded quickly to our questions, and made the whole process of booking our holiday accommodation extremely easy and stress-free.

We have stayed at Hygge on numerous occasions over the last three to four years and have found it to be perfect the view is wonderful and having the glass fronted balcony is a real bonus
We have found it to be spotless and really up market interior with the added bonus of a car parking space.
Having dealt with Taylor Made Salcombe nothing too much trouble for Harriet

Salcombe is a fantastic holiday destination and Hygge an amazing place to enjoy all that there is on offer. Direct access to the water where you can enjoy kayaking or paddle boarding amongst other things as well as enjoying the fabulous beeches and restaurants, all within walking distance or a short water crossing. Superb:-)

We had a fantastic stay at the Cottage in Salcombe booked via Taylor Made Salcombe. The cottage was exceptionally well located, very clean and fully equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Harriet was very helpful and responsive not to mention the fantastic hamper we found on arrival. We will definitely book again soon!
