DO NOT USE. Booked a taxi in advance to pick us up from a wedding in the middle of nowhere, it was cancelled 5 minutes before it was meant to pick us up. No explanation or apology and no answer on the phone. Left us absolutely screwed.

Ordered an 8 seater taxi weeks in advance. , instead a normal car turned up, told us no 8 seater available. Meant we would have to wait for the car to do a double journey charging us double the cost of what we would have paid for an 8 seater. Rip off!

Since I have sold my car I have been using Tay Taxis, on few occasions I phoned at 8.30 for taxi to take my daughter to school and been told it could take up to 15 minutes, so I agreed as my daughter would make to school before 9am. Well taxi came 8.57 am and today came 9.00 am so each time my daughter was late for school, when I contacted customer service lady on the phone was very rude and kept shouting without any apology and hanging up on me! This review is not based on one off experience but quite a few, I will definitely not use their service ever again and would not recommend to anybody. What makes me angry they never gave me chance to make my own choice if I want their taxi as If I knew it's gonna be 9am I would phone another service. Lady on the phone should be send on some customer service course or even anger management one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a taxi earlier this evening which was all fine until I later received a very rude phone call from the phone office shouting at me down the phone that I had booked a taxi from a completely different address and going to another destination may that was booked under a completely different name. When I asked the woman to not shout at me down the phone she replied back with "I will shout if I want"
I'm sure it was some kind of mistake with the computer booking system but I won't be booking with Tay taxis again due to how rude they were when handling the problem that they had. The woman also did not apologize, I wouldn't bother with this service if this is how they treat customers.

I have used Tays for about 8 years now and I won't use any other firm. They are courteous and fiendly and the drivers and cars are always clean and the ladies in the office very helpful. I know I can always depend on them no matter what. All round excellent service.

Would give zero stars if I could. After spending £85 on taxis from Dundee the company decided to cancel our final taxi of the evening leaving us stranded half an hour from Dundee. The company refused to answer our calls, Do not use.

Phoned around 6.35am, said would be 5-10 minutes. Ten minutes past phoned back... Ohh driver been & gone, you were a no show!! Live in a flat.. No ring back!! Driver won't come back for a no show... Never knew he was there!! Poor customer service!!!!

I use them regularly, but the past couple of weeks the office has messed up a couple of times. Last weekend I called for a car from home, it was sent to Morrison, I laughed it off as a genuine mistake. This weekend I called a car from Morrison, the car was cancelled without me being informed, leaving me waiting for a car that wasn't coming.
