Just wanted to leave a (fairly belated!) review of the TARS Taxi team - these folk are an absolute godsend for the area; twice they have gone out of their way to help me for which I'm truly grateful 🙏

The first time was when I was laden with suitcase and backpack, awaiting the bus from Gilfachrheda to Llanarth to catch the connecting Cardiff coach (which only happens once a day!) so I could attend an urgent meeting I had in Cymru's little smoke - Cardifornia (the nickname for Cardiff 😆).

Their team kindly took a special recognition of how concerned I was and re-routed of their team to detour my way, helped me with all my gear and even dropped me off in time to make catch coach. I honestly could not have made that happen without their help.

The second time was the other direction during the deepest darkest, chilly off season January - storm 'Eowyn' (god knows why they name the storms now) had struck and Terry (apologies if I got your name wrong! 😅) kindly picked up in the dark night of pouring wind and gale force rain (Id gotten the bus timetable wrong this time!). Absolute legend! He even drove me down what for all appearances is a pretty rickety lane littered with broken branches and the leaves above swaying violently in the stormy weather.

Honestly, do yourself and these good folk a favour and write of your good experiences too because they deserve all the recognition they get, diolch TARS - thank you for putting up with my chaotic last minute plans! 🙏😁❤️

Wonderful taxi service! Without them, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy my holiday in Aberaeron as much, as getting around can be difficult without a car. If I could give a 10-star rating for their service, availability, car quality, and friendliness, it would be a perfect 10 across the board! Diolch yn fawr iawn!

Having just finished a walk from Aberporth to Newquay we realised we'd just missed the last bus back to Aberaeron. Feeling exhausted we phoned Tar Taxis and despite Linda’s shift finishing in 15 minutes she was so kind as to agree to take us. On the way she also gave us some great recommendations for restaurants in Aberaeron and was chatty and happy throughout the journey. We can’t rate her highly enough. Thank you again Linda!
