A great trip out for the kids and the volunteers are absolutely brilliant, so accommodating and friendly. It’s good value for money, safety briefing, they take card or cash payment and not overpriced nor trying forcing additional prices (because it’s just one price for the trip and they’re a charity), and there was some good comedy with a historic speech. My only advice is they don’t serve drinks as it’s about the boat trip so if you need soft drinks, bring it with you). We had all types of groups onboard from families, elderly couples, young couples and single adventurers and all were really impressed. Thank you

Bit of a let down went for the first barge trip 12 oclock it was advertised as open on the internet however no sign of anyone and the staff at portland basin have nothing to do with the trips so no one knew anything. Plenty of people waiting for the trip lots of children dissapointed. If they are not running the trips I feel they should update their internet page save undue dissapointment.

Killing off Wildlife around the Canals is not Biodiversity or supporting wildlife as many dead geese / bees , insects have suffered from this unnecessary disaster , as Dangerous machinery used has done untold damage .. Better Management and Transparent needs to be in place urgently..

The only downside was it was inside the narrow boat so hard to see a lot of things and I thought the trip was very quick at just over 30 mins ,apart from that it was great for the kids and the staff were very helpful 👍
