Stopped in Tally Ho 2 Donna had thought of everything to make it as cosy and comfortable as any 5 star hotel .
Hot tub was great. Nice touch with the greeting hamper with tea coffee , biscuits, drinks and the dressing gowns . Well looked after caravan. Space for 2 cars at the side. Location and views were fantastic. Walked down to your own personal peg to the fishing lake . Plenty of room for a few people to fish . Disappointed with our fishing lots of weeds Got is a bit frustrated. However under the peg was a pike that kept eating the roach and perch we caught. Lovely tench was caught . No carp . Did send a message to Donna who suggested we go to Tally Ho 3 so we can catch a variety of fish but we usually fish for carp . The whole lake needs drenching in my opinion.
There is so much to do on the site , it has own cafe, pub, fish and chip shop. Other water sports activities, jet skiing , family pedal boats .
What we also enjoyed was the fighter jets coming over daily for manoeuvres while sitting in our hot tub or having a drink of vino or fishing .
We would recommend the site and definitely the caravan to families and couples . You can buy a pass which is £80 per caravan so you can access all the facilities on the park but it depends on what you want to do. We spoke to a few people who said when it’s at peak times prebook activities so you’re not disappointed.

Have had a wonderful few days in Tally Ho 1. The unit is lovely and views are stunning across the lake. 2 bedroom unit but feels very spacious and comfortable.... 0lenty of leaflets on the surrounding area and takeaways which is always a bonus. Lovely welcome hamper from Donna was a nice touch. Donna is a wonderful host, how she put up with all my messages asking things I will never know. Hot tub was my highlight, easy to use and very comfortable despite being october... Though very cold when getting out, so be aware!!

If I could add anything I would add a heater on the decking for comfort when getting out of the hot tub and some kind of shelter outside back door. We were very mindful of getting the floor wet. Also some hooks would be handy and a better plan for drying out swimmers after being in the hot tub as it's quite hard to dry them... Alternatively, bring extras 😁😁

A wonderful week, we will be looking to book with Donna again, probably a different unit... Gotta try them all.
