I wish I’d seen these reviews before getting involved with this company. I contacted them through a deal offered by Travelzoo. It’s been a stressful nightmare and I think I finally have the vouchers - incorrect name on one - but no final invoice. I’m promised one within 24 hours every day this past week. The holiday is in October and I shall be nervous until we actually go.

Misrepresented Holiday Booked on 20 February
Unfortunately, I seized upon a travelzoo deal which had a link to a partner company called Super Escapes. I have booked 7 nights for 2 people from 13 to 20 May ( Super Escapes book ref SET05802) at the Aqua Hotel Promenade in Pineda de Mar, on the Costa Brava.

I should have been suspicious when the consultant after finalising all the details and checking passenger details said she needed to put me through to a supervisor to double check all the details. This is not standard practice as most travel consultants after checking all the details and collecting card payment information confirm the holiday.

The so-called "supervisor" named "Janet" was obviously there to "upsell" She persuaded me to change my flight from Vuelling to Easyjet for an extra £75 which I agreed to do as it is a better airline and the departure times were better. I have no problem with this but do object to being lied to about the luggage.
She indicated that Vuelling charge £108 for luggage (presumably in the hold) whereas with Easyjet we could each bring a large 10kg cabin bag to be stored in the overhead lockers. Instead, the written confirmation email which only appeard 3 hours after my telephone booking on 20 February shows we only have the free underseat bag which she would have known is far too small to store holiday luggage.

Furthermore, she persuaded me to pay an extra £35 for a guaranteed standard room with balcony, minibar and flat screen TV as she indicated if the hotel allocates a room on arrival it could be very basic and not have these facilities. This is a complete lie as all standard rooms have a balcony, minibar and TV.

When I tried to rang back to seek clarification they assured me that a service manger would ring me back.
This did not happen and when I rang again they simply put the phone down. Eventually, I wrote to them saying that as they had misrepresented several details of my holiday I had no confidence that the rest of the holiday was correctly represented and I wanted a full refund.

An agent called "Roy" rang back and simply sent the paperwork from the original email showing I had the free underseat bags with Easyjet.

The original confirmation email from "Janet" was only sent at 14:58 pm on 20 February, 3 hours after my telephone booking at 12:31 pm on 20 February with "Janet" so I could not double check or query the luggage with her while on the phone.

Furthermore, "Roy" claimed the room gaurantee was for a room with a pool view. "Janet" never mentioned a pool or sea view and relied on me being prepared to pay extra to secure a room with a TV, balcony and minibar which is a standard feature in all rooms and did not need to be gauranteed with an extra £35.

I have no confidence that my holiday is correctly represented and have asked for a full refund within 7 days but suspect I will have to address this with Mastercard as have no conficence that this company operates in an ethical and honest manner. I see there are other bad reviews and suspect that they work on the principle that frustrated consumers eventually give up.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Not members of ABTA.Beware!! Conned !!! I wish I had read the reviews first!!! I paid £300 as a deposit but after 14 days of calls and emails we are still unable to travel as they seem unable to provide us with valid travel documents. Three documents had an incorrect name and the latest had my date of birth wrong .
Any help much appreciated.

Worst travel agency i had to deal with. Hate to leave bad reviews but they are awful and not helpful at all once they got your money they are not willing to help you, if anything they will take more money from you. Not worth ruining your holiday for and can easily do it my self for much cheaper and better! Avoid!!

They tried to be very helpful, and were very polite. Just remember to listen very carefully, coz if not it can be very costly. Rita, Howard and Dania did appear to try to help. However I still ended up paying over the odds.

We are in holiday through this agency "Super Escape Travel"

We arrived on 7 of August 2019 late in the night in Club Scala Nuova hotel in Turkey Kusadasi... Location recommended and guaranteed by Super Escape...

We are 4 adults and 2 childrens that we pay in full for All Inclusive Holiday to stay 2 weeks...

In the room we tried to have a shower after a long journey but no hot water, next day in the morning we have no hot water in the shower as
We made complains on the 8 August in the morning at the reception about this issue...
Excuses that we need to wait 5 or 10 minute for water to come that ofcourse we have done for more than 30 minutes...

The same problem we had every day until now...

The hotel and restaurant are dirty and cockroaches everywhere...

Food is awful. Not fit for consumption

Most of times when we come in the morning to try to eat we only manage some vegetables, milk with biscuits...

We find and we have seen plenty other people complaining about the same situation and problems...

We had to go out to eat every day as we were not sure where and how the food was cooked...

We have taken photos and videos several times... then some of the guys when they see us they didn't like apparently...
And they where talking about...

We have made every day phone calls to Super Escape and we send them plenty emails with photos and videos asking them to move us or to contact their representative ar anyone who can do anything to resolve anything as soon as possible...
As an Urgent matter no one has done anything
Only apologizes and excuses that they're supplier they can't do anything...

Many, many other than this we have to say and have happened...

We will post more about this bad experience soon...

Now apparently they have asked us to leave this hotel...
But we have no idea where...
No alternative accommodation have been arranged...

We are on the STREET with no help from the reps. We have no choice but to pursue legal action

Please let us know if anyone knows what and where we can go and do to sort out all of this...

Franco Welsh was really helpful in dealing with a flight issue we had that would have really impacted on my experience, personally and financially
He resolved within 10 minutes and got our new flights booked with confirmation emails over quickly
