I'd highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves history, literature, Jane Austen, architecture, or culture!

We joined a walking tour recently as part of our trip to Bath, which became the highlight of our visit. Our guide, Moira, was incredibly knowledgeable and a wonderful storyteller! She shared so much about Jane Austen and the history of Bath and its beautiful architecture, making the era come alive. Moira is an excellent guide, she's humorous, friendly, and engaging. We all really enjoyed our afternoon with her and only wish we’d had more time 🙂

I must also add that Jude from Strictly Jane Austen Tours was incredibly helpful and responsive, making the planning and administrative side of the tour smooth and easy!

They were very responsive and gracious about organizing a private tour during the time we were visiting. We coordinated over email despite the time difference and late notice.
Our tour guide was deeply knowledgeable. What I expected was knowledge of Austen's work and life. Our tour guide met those expectations. We were impressed by her knowledge of the various interpretations, particularly movies, and will go back and watch these. What was most exceptional and surprising is the deep and comprehensive architectural knowledge: what buildings would have existed, what has been replaced, the ages of the buildings, the architects, and physical environment during Austen's day.

The tour info was good, the guide knowledgeable and sites as it was a beautiful day for engaging. Suggest the tour guide not to encourage the fudge stop. Nice to see but just not our thing. The tea and finding my outfit was a bit chaotic and not what I expected for the price. You can get tea or brunch at numerous other places in Bath. There was nothing at the tea related Jane Austen though fun to dress up in the period.

We highly recommend Moira from Stricly Jane Austen, we had a great time walking with her on Jane Austen’s steps, discovering secrets of her life and following the inspiration of most of her novels.
Her knowledge of Bath’s architecture and history is impressive, none of our questions were left unanswered !

This was a fantastic experience and I would heartily recommend it to any and all Jane Austen fans! The programme was put together with real dedication and brought together a wonderful range of activities and talks, with something for everyone! The Regency Dance Workshop was a particular highlight...as were the costumes!

We took a trip here from US just for this. The Sign says 530. Walked in at 432pm , 2 minutes after tour started. We were told only the gift shop was open. As we were in the gift shop, 3 people came in with 1030 am tickets, Louisa behind the desk offered to give them a quick overview tour, when I asked if we could pay full price, and accompany , she said No. We were literally right there and she was doing it anyways. Just not very proper, you were taking 3 others around anyways. I guess you’d rather a 5 pound keychain be sold than 75 pound tour. Thank you for the classy hospitality
