Outstanding service from start to finish. I had a vehicle to trade in and was travelling from Scotland, and Ross was incredibly helpful in arranging a smooth handover and clearly explaining all of my options. We agreed on a fantastic deal, and he went well beyond what you’d typically expect during the process.

Due to my wife being unwell, I had to make the six-hour journey alone with my two young children. Ross was brilliant—he gave them a small gift and kept them entertained while I completed the paperwork. He even managed to source winter mats for the vehicle, something other dealers had struggled with.

A top-class showroom with professional, courteous staff. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic customer service.
Hayden dealt with the purchase of our new car, and could not have been more helpful. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent!
A small issue needed rectifying upon collection of the vehicle, and both Hayden and Janet went above and beyond to make sure that it was sorted quickly and efficiently, and we left as very happy customers.
Would highly recommend.

3 weeks ago I bought my X3 from BMW Harrogate.
Travelled over 300 miles form Plymouth to collect the car.
Car was as described by Tristan who was extremely helpful throughout the whole process.
Had a minor issue when I got home took to my local BMW dealership emailed Tristan the invoice and was reimbursed the next day.
Excellent service and would highly recommend this garage.

Customer Service is absolutely shocking. Took refundable deposit of £500 which after 2 weeks of ignored emails and phone calls I asked to speak with a manager, I was told the manager would call me back, she hasn’t. But the refund appeared in my bank within the hour. Used pressure tactics to get you to sign the contract even though he knew it wasn’t the engine size we wanted, but we decided to test drive the car anyway to see if we liked it. Arrived to test drive and was sat waiting for over an hour whilst staff were drinking coffee and having a good old chinwag about their weekend. We only wanted the keys and putting on the insurance which is a 5 minute job that even the cleaner could have done! After a long wait in a very hot showroom we told the lady at the desk we were going to wait outside and that we would only wait for another 15 minutes. No one bothered to come out so we left.
After this experience and it not being the engine size we wanted we decided not to go ahead with the purchase.
Having read previous similar reviews and the responses given by stratstone they are simply ignoring what people are saying and simply don’t care as nothing has changed!
We went to another dealership and the difference was night and day! AVOID AT ALL COST. Do not waist your hard earned cash on these muppets

I was very disappointed with my recent experience at BMW Harrogate.

When spending close to £40,000, I expected a much higher level of service and professionalism. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I found the attitude of the sales representative (Louis) particularly frustrating. When I raised a concern about a previous issue with the engine warning light and asked for confirmation of what had triggered it, I was met with sarcasm rather than helpfulness or reassurance.

Given that service history and recall information can easily be accessed online, I was surprised to learn that, after a week, no steps had been taken to investigate the issue. Instead, I was made to feel as though I was being difficult simply for asking legitimate questions about the vehicle's condition.

When a customer invests this amount of money, the minimum they should expect is to be treated with respect and to receive transparent, informed communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Before I start this is nothing car related but instead highlights the quality of staff this branch employs. While out riding my motorcycle on 23.08.25 it developed a fault and as such the nearest and most safe place to pull in was this branch. I went into the showroom and explained what had happened. Lydia, who was on the front desk, telephoned one of the mechanics (Myles) who came up to the car park and after several attempts jump started the bike. Unfortunately there was more of on an issue which meant I had to call the AA. Lydia came out to talk to me and my friends and offered the branches facilities until help arrived which was greatly appreciated. Like I said, nothing to do with car sales but just highlights the decent type of people this branch employs. Thank you Lydia and Myles from myself and the guys.

Very unprofessional sales team. Took refundable deposit of £500 which has not been returned. The money has disappeared in the system. Did not explain the financial details properly. Used pressure tactics to get you to sign the contract. When complained, the customer care person refuses to respond in writing. Does not answer calls. A clear example of a team who are not keen on customer care. Horrible behaviour when they tried to use sales pressure tactic even during a bereavement. Very cruel. Interesting that some of the recent complaints are from names with non-English surnames.

Excellent customer service from all staff. Very friendly. We are from Doncaster but choose this one over the last year or so since going there due to the extra effort they put in and make us feel at home. I surprised my husband with a new M3. All staff were in on it and made it the best surprise. Thanks to Ed who was the sales person, even coming in on his day off to ensure all went smoothly! Also shout out to Liam who's acting skills were fab! To Debs the admin lady for picking us a stand-out reg plate (Ed informed us of this). All this behind the scenes to get the best deal and those extra touches to make it special for our dream car. We have had 2 cars from here and will continue to go here. Even the manager greeted my husband with the 340i last year and gave incentives. Can't recommend it enough. Thank you all 😀 very happy with the service and the car, so much so, we can't stop talking about it!
