We had a fantastic stay with Carol and Jules who were incredibly welcoming. We aren’t vegans ourselves, but thoroughly enjoyed all the food served. A lot of the produce is sourced from the island and the hearty breakfast set us up for the day. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view from the front rooms. We’ll definitely be back!

One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed at in the UK. Food was fantastic every breakfast, clearly thought had gone into every meal. Carol and Jules were extremely accommodating and lovely for our stay too.
Location is very handy for getting from ferry and catching bus around.

We have just returned from our stay in Stonewater House, and it was such a delight! Carol and Jules were such wonderful hosts and provided us with a relaxing and peaceful stay. The living/breakfast room has a wonderful view, and it is filled with books, including vegan cookbooks for anyone curious about a plant-based lifestyle.||The room itself was very calming with soft lights and lots of yellow. We got a fantastic night's rest as the bed was of excellent quality. The shower was also very hot, with great pressure, which is exactly what you need after a day or two exploring Arran on foot! ||To top it all off, the food is AMAZING! My partner and I are both vegan and often struggle when we are away to find suitable food, let alone find a vegan-run B&B! There is an unbelievable amount of choice, and it's all really fresh and lovingly made. We even opted for the packed lunch too, which we smugly enjoyed up the top of the pools at Glen Rosa! ||Thanks again, we will definitely be coming back.||Amy & Chloe x

Our experience at Stonewater House was excellent. Carol and Jules were warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed and friendly vibe during our entire stay. They're happy to provide recommendations on what to do and see, and where's good to eat locally, especially for vegans.||The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, and well-stocked with snacks and fresh towels. ||The location is fantastic for travelling to other parts of Arran, with regular buses going in both directions around the Island, with easy access to sites such as Brodrick and Goatfell.||Finally, the breakfast was fantastically delicious. The food is all ethically sourced and vegan, and is incredible for vegans and non-vegans alike - as a non-vegan with a vegan partner, we both thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, and the portions are extremely generous!||In summary, Stonewater House is an excellent Bed and Breakfast, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking as a place to stay whilst exploring Arran.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at Stonewater Vegan B & B. The room was large, clean and comfortable with stunning sea views. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the porridge! Many thanks to Carol and Jules for their hospitality and kindness.

Simply the best BnB we have ever stayed at. The room was lovely, very comfortable beds, good shower with cruelty free products. The location is 2 minutes to the beach. The hosts Carol and Jules were most welcoming. There is a lovely lounge with a library and sea views. The best thing though was the incredible breakfast. Whether you are vegan or not, this is hands down the best breakfast choice and quality of any bnb or hotel we have visited, Dont' hesitate just book. Highly recommended.

We had the most amazing time at Stonewater house. Carol and Jules made us so welcome, and the birthday we were celebrating extra special. ||There are no words to describe the quality ( and quantity!) of the breakfasts. We miss them and can't wait to return. The room was spacious and spotless and had a lovely view of the sea.
