My favourite rock festival. Great vibe, great people and very well organised by people that live for the music. Went in our campervan. Loads of room as every pitch is marked out on arrival and is of ample size. Excellent range of food available, reasonably priced beer and they even allow you to take a few of your own cans in! Bring on 2025. SYATB

In these days of surge pricing and horrible companies like Live Nation attempting to scalp music fans at every turn, Stonedead really stands out. A music festival run by rock fans for rock fans, with a limited capacity to keep a family feelings and cheap ticket prices and am all-round great vibe - it's just fantastic. Friendly volunteers, great bands, relatively cheap food and booze - you can even take some of your own into the arena. And when its over, people take their rubbish, and don't leave the campsite like a war zone.
A great festival.

Possibly the most civilised and friendly rock festival. The staff/volunteers know what they are doing. The event is so well organised, both before and during. The audience for the most part were older than your usual festival crowd, but everyone was so friendly. The actual festival is relatively small in comparison to Download, capacity is 5000, just one stage, and works really well. You don't feel you're missing out having to move from one stage to another and make frustrating choices over who you're gonna see. Also, you're not paying for 100+ bands, and only get to see 30 or so. The bands this year were excellent, we loved Kira Mac on the Friday night, Therapy? were great, and Buck Dharma was a true guitar legend, the whole crowd so eager to hear 'Don't Fear The Reaper'. Great to see the members of South of Salem in the crowd after their set, enjoying the rest of their day! Special thanks to Nikki for all her help. SYATB next year!

Stonedead festival was very well organised event. Bands were great, and food / drink reasonably priced. Queues for everything were not too bad.

One criticism would be the organisation of the camping tent area. It was chaos with tents effectively slotted in as close as possible. Not a major thing, but first night someone tripped over the guide ropes in a dark corner and ended up with a tent peg in her leg. Very unfortunate for her, and we ensured she got the medical help she needed. Better lighting? Proper walk routes? Needs some improvement.

Otherwise a great weekend.

Amazing day of music. Great atmosphere. The staff and volunteers very friendly and helpful. Easy access to parking, camping and the arena. Highly recommend. Couldn't praise the whole experience enough, will be back in 2019 for sure 👍👍

This year's Stonedead Festival wasn't anywhere near as good as 2022. Firstly, they can't be blamed for the weather, but it was crap. However, the line-up was mediocre at best this year. Collateral were great, South of Salem were amazing, Deraps (Canada) were pretty good, Florence Black and King King were so-so, The Answer very good (but we'd just seen them at Stealhouse), Therapy are just not my thing, Black Star Riders - so-so and Blue Oyster Cult just should not be headlining a one day festival ... a '3-dayer', or multi-stage maybe. Friday's line-up of Karma Effect, Kira Mac and Skin was pretty good.
Need bigger name headliner for next year.
