Fabulous time at the gin tasting experience! It was fun, interesting, informative & educational. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Paul & given a double gin whilst listening to the introduction to the evening. Offered another double gin whilst looking around the distillery & opportunity to try a sample of the other gins produced by Stockport Gins. It is brilliant that Stockport has such talented gin makers & its own branded gin!! Would highly recommend this experience & of course the superb gin!!!

We went to Stockport gin for their gin school. What an amazing experience, spending a couple of hours with the Paul learning about gin and dusting our own gin. As well as getting to talk to the owner of Stockport gin and having the experience of distilling our own gin we got 3 double gins to try , plus a couple of samples and took home the bottle of gin we had made.

We had such a fantastic experience last night, making our own gin was such a wonderful treat, a brilliant atmosphere and some fabulous people thrown into the mix meant we enjoyed it throughly!

Paul is so knowledgeable about all things gin, and answered every single question that was thrown his way, full of lots of tips and advice throughout the entire process of our gin making journey and he gave us an even deeper insight to @stockportgin and their background which was lovely to hear.

We were welcomed with a double G&T, we got three throughout this whole experience, the first one which was their original gin and a very nice one too, if you’ve not tried any of the @stockportgin this is a great one to start with, our second one was the twist of lime gin, my absolute FAVE out of the whole collection and finally put third gin was our own gin that we made we got to taste it and it was incredible.

Paul showed us all around the distillery and explained the process and how much time and effort goes into the whole gin making for them, it’s such a labour of love and you can really tell this is everything for them both and that it means so much, which is a really wonderful thing.

Then we went up to the gin school, were everything regarding us making our own gin was explained, Paul went through everything step by step and made sure we all understood everything that was going to be happening, Paul was on hand to help us with everything, giving advice and tips to help enhance our gin distilling process, we got to pick all our own botanicals, we bottled, named and labelled all our own gins and that was such a brilliant experience.

We went for a very citrus forward gin, we hand picked 6 botanicals to go in our gin, we chose the following: lime peel, orange peel, lemon peel, liquorice root, pink peppercorn and kaffir lime leaves and let me tell you this gin was a absolute WINNER 🍸

Overall this was a such a great way for us to spend a Friday evening together.

We had such a good evening on the gin tasting and distillery tour. Paul made everyone so welcome. The back ground to your story and that of how gin started was really interesting. It was really good value for money. Thank you and I will definitely recommend to any gin lovers I know.

A group of us went on the tour last Saturday and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Paul is extremely knowledgeable about the history of gin, and it was also very interesting to learn about the journey they had been on since their initial idea of creating Stockport Gin.
All their gins are excellent and the majority of our party bought bottles to take home with them.
I recommend this tour for anyone with even the slightest interest in gin.

A big thank you to Paul and Stockport Gin for hosting a Gin Tasting Evening at the Fairhurst Buckley 5th Merger Anniversary Birthday Party - this is the second time we have hosted a Stockport Gin Tasting Session for the team and it was just as great second time round. We enjoyed some generous gin tastings of all of the different flavours including the new Viaduct Vodka, a fascinating history and insight into the history of gin and gin making and a light hearted quiz with prize at the end. Everyone had a great time. We cannot rate the experience highly enough! A truly great Stockport business!

Stockport Gin produces excellent gins, each with their own story and offering something different. I took the Distillery Tour and it could not have been better, Paul is a great host and provided an entertaining and informative history of gin and the company's products, and was on hand to answer any questions and the two double gin and tonics and tasters went down very well. Highly recommended.
