Called today to enquire about mooring, none available but what great people, I wasn't just fobbed off, they took my details and even gave me a quick tour of there first class facilities. The lady in reception and the gentleman there were a credit to the marina.

We had a lovely walk to the Stenson Marina and called In at the Stenson Bubble Cottage Cafe. My hubby had a lovely bacon and egg cob and I had a bacon sandwich. Delicious. Very comfy and lovely to watch the boats going through the lock.

A great place to have a coffee and sit to gongoozle. Clean toilets and showers, great facilities, good moorings, everything you need.

Not really a place to visit if you are not a boat owner or canal enthusiast, but the owners and staff are absolutely fantastic, I've heard good things about the Stenson Bubble too, not had the opportunity to visit the bubble yet, but will in the future.
