My daughter wanted to go somewhere off the beaten tourist trail. Staunton farm was an enjoyable experience. I liked getting close to all of the animals. The garden was very pretty, I got some nice photos. Great for kids, you can buy animal feed at the front desk.

You can see that they really take care of the animals, everything was well maintained. Lovely range of animals - from llamas to emus to guinea pigs. There’s a little soft play area, playground and lovely cafe. It is slightly pricey but if you live nearby you can buy a yearly pass which would make it more affordable if you went more frequently.

We spent a lovely afternoon walking around the gardens with our dogs. What a magnificent house it must have had at one time! Small cafe for a coffee after.

A great day out for kids, plenty of animals which they can also have a go at feeding. A wonderful indoor soft play for under 4s, not the best for under 1s but still ok. They have a lovely cafe who do fantastic Cornish pasties. There is a massive outdoor play area for the kids to burn off some extra energy. Make sure to pop into the farm shop on the way out. A great day out.

Lovely to take our little one. The farm space itself needs a little TLC. Cafe and play ground/soft play great! It was a quieter day when we went can imagine it gets very busy on weekends and during the holiday.

A nice little estate, ample parking which is included in the entrance fee; you'll be given a code to enter into the parking payment machine. As for the entrance fee, one of the most reasonable I've seen in the local area (Hampshire) for visitor attractions. Clean, well managed grounds with an emphasis on hand cleansing after feeding and contact with animals; there's an abundance of cleaning stations spread around the grounds. Lamas, Alpacas, Rhea, Rabbits, Pigs, Ducks, Geese, Goats, Shetland Pony's and Donkeys provide entertainment for young and "not so young" visitors. The walk through the park isn't taxing, an easy and pleasant wander. Enclosed children's play areas and a decent cafe, eat in or choose the picnic areas available. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. All in all, a nice and affordable way to pass a few hours.

Staunton Park is an absolute treasure for anyone who loves the outdoors! The park offers a fantastic blend of beautiful landscapes, family-friendly activities, and peaceful walking trails that make it the perfect escape for all ages. From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by scenic gardens, sprawling fields, and well-maintained paths that invite you to explore.
One of the highlights is the farm area, which is always a hit with kids (and adults alike). It’s wonderful to see animals up close, and there are plenty of interactive opportunities to feed and learn about them. The lake is also stunning, especially if you enjoy bird-watching or a leisurely stroll by the water.
Staunton Park also has lovely picnic areas and a well-stocked cafe, ideal for taking a break and enjoying a cup of tea or lunch surrounded by nature. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to help you find your way or share insights about the local wildlife.
Whether you're out for a family day, a romantic walk, or a solo adventure in nature, Staunton Park is a perfect destination. Highly recommended – a true gem in Hampshire!

Great little day out especially when the lambing is going on. We spent about 2 hours here which was not just seeing the animals but going into the play areas and having a sit down snack. The area can be quite muddy if there has been rain recently so bring wellies just in case. Car park is free with adult tickets using a code in the ticket office.
