Brilliant service going to and coming from Gloucester. We had our dog with us,and both our drivers ensured he was comfortable and had room. We had previously used another company,but will be using Starline from now on. Especially as the cost was less than other companies charge! Drivers were friendly,professional,and helpful.

I’ve had really positive experiences with Starline Taxi so far. I always mention that I have my mini dachshund in a carrier bag, and Starline has been very accommodating — they always find drivers who are okay with me bringing my dog along (which can be quite rare, especially with most Ubers). The women I’ve spoken to over the phone when booking (unfortunately, I don’t know their names) have been really kind, quick, and efficient, and the drivers themselves have also been lovely.

I’ve never had a bad experience with them. Occasionally they run a few minutes late, but that’s completely understandable during rush hour — and it’s never more than a few minutes. I also make sure to book plenty of time in advance, as they recommend.

I’ve used Starline several times now, usually for trips to the vet or to the station, and I’ve always been really happy with their service. I’ll definitely continue to use Starline 🙂

On 11th June 2025, I rang this company at around 8:50 and asked for a taxi to pick me up at the George hotel in Cheltenham at 9am. As I got into the taxi, the driver rudely informed me that I was lucky he hadn’t driven off, as he’d called me twice to say he’d arrived and I hadn’t picked up (I was in the process of checking out of the hotel). I was literally getting into his taxi at 9am on the dot - the exact time I’d requested it for! When I pointed this out to him, the response was silence. So unnecessarily rude and will definitely not be using this company again.

Arrived at the coach station in Cheltenham at 00:45, having returned by coach from the Forest Live Festival at Westonbirt Arboretum. Called for a taxi back to our hotel and received a text before the end of the call confirming the journey and the price, which was very reasonable for the time of night. On ending the call immediately received a further text confirming the details of the car and driver. Excellent service.

Driver was very nice and friendly but the price was disgusting! £14.50 from the Hilton to Dunkerton’s Park. 2.2 miles/ 7 minute journey. In comparison, a trip for this journey with Uber is half the price.
