We booked a day in Edinburgh with Starfish Travel and the experience was phenomenal. Kirstin was great to work with - professional, prompt and accommodating. She had the best suggestions, information on the attractions and even provided a few extra surprises (you’ll have to book with Starfish to find out). I would 100% recommend Starfish to anyone traveling to Edinburgh. They also do St. Andrews tours and more. Check them out.

We can't say enough positive thoughts about our day trip with Kirstin! It was such a lovely day from beginning to end. Our day was packed full of adventures,
visiting the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, and we even managed to visit 5 castles, and the Wallace Monument. Kirstin put together an incredible itinerary based on our interests, and some of her suggestions based on her vast knowledge and experience. Her knowledge of the area meant that the day was planned very smoothly. She was excellent with our children, and she even packed an incredible basket full of local fruits and snacks. We wish we could have another trip with her tomorrow. Until next time, thanks for everything, Kirstin.

Kirstin was incredible!! She was so great with my mom who has mobility issues, and charged us a very reasonable price. She was very informative, and had clearly done lots of research in regards to our plans. Kirstin had so many great snacks for us and even treated us to whiskey and fudge! She fit in so well with our family and was a pleasure to be around. I would highly recommend her!!

I have just the most glowing praise for everything about our experience with Starfish. My wife and I set up a two week tour around Scotland, and we were lucky enough to work with Kristin for a major transfer leg between the ferry from Islay up to our lodgings in Speyside.

Through the entire process, she was friendly and incredibly enthusiastic, asking questions about our tastes and what our goals were, as well as offering suggestions for diversions along the route. We quickly realized that we should engage Starfish for our return transfer instead of taking the train. Unfortunately Kristin was booked, but she made sure we were looked after by the Taxi side of the business.

When it came time for the actual driving, I can't really quantify how enjoyable of an experience it was. Safe drivers, good conversation, abundant snacks and then there's the fact that it was like a constant magic show of whiskey. "If you reach down behind you, you'll find a bottle I think you'll enjoy..." I'd tried none of the whiskeys that were along for the ride, and many of them had stories either about why they were special or about the reason or method of their acquisition. It made a long drive feel much quicker than it could have, and that wasn't just because of the alcohol...

We had a wonderful experience and I'm already dreaming of the next opportunity where we can partner with them again, hopefully for a bit more than just the transfer. I consider it to have been one of the highlights of our trip and though this is an exceptionally long review, I hope it expresses how highly I think of them.

My husband I were truly blessed to have, Kirstin, with Starfish Travel give us a wonderful day tour when our ship was docked near Edinburgh. Our tour consisted of her picking us up at the ship and proceeding up the coast to St. Andrews with many photo stops along the way. We were able to spend a lot more time at St. Andrews then what the ship excursion offered, even had lunch at the golf course. She made our tour extra special with stops at a local strawberry farm, chocolate shop and scotch tasting just to name a few. We will DEFINITELY be using Starfish Travel again.
