We have been using Star Taxis for years. Always for Airport runs. We book in advance and confirm again within 24hrs of the journey. We use an MPV for our family and it has sufficient boot space for our big luggages. The driver Reuban is always helpful, professional and very friendly. Well worth it especially after a long and stressful flight.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could give minus stars I would.
The driver arrived late, and to make matters worse, while taking my suitcase out he broke not one but both of my suitcase handles. Unfortunately in a rush I had paid him in the car. Once I checked in I called up the company and spoke to Sam (the person I made the booking though) to make him aware of my complain, he said he would speak to the driver and get back to me. Once I had return from my holiday, I contacted Sam, and he accused me of lying! His driver said the handle was broken before! I was fuming at this point and asked what the complains procedure is, apparently there isn't one. Drives mishandling your properly is not they concern. If you don't want your luggages broken then please don't use this company! The worst I have ever experienced!!!

Booked a return journey to Heathrow. The driver slept through his alarm so I had to run to board the plane, then when I went to pay the price was double what was confirmed to me on the phone. When I spoke to the “manager” he said I should have assumed his price was each way and that it wasn’t his fault if I can’t hear properly! I had no confirmation of the journey by text or email and no verbal or written confirmation of the price…but apparently that’s my fault as a customer, not the person who runs the business. Terrible!

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY if you want a professional service!

I booked a taxi for work and was appalled by the rudeness of the company when I asked to stop at an additional house in the next village that is on route. They wanted to charge an significant extra fee, even though they had to pass through any way and when I called to question it I was told it was what it was and I had to deal with it. I then replied to the email (that confirmed the additional fee) asking them why this had been requested and I got a reply saying, 'please confirm if you will pay the fee or we will cancel, thanks'. Nothing more, nothing less.

Quoted 15 minutes ETA but took over twice that, I missed my train as a result despite leaving ample time to allow for delays. Just wasn't expecting a delay this cosiderable. Driver was friendly, but still disappointed with this taxi service and won't be using again.

Shocking - do not recommend. Agreed a price for return airport transfer which they subsequently put up twice during the course of our holiday. Dishonest. Avoid!
