Will diagnose issues then just doesn't want to do the work so makes up loads of excuses; prefer mechanics to be honest and genuine like they used to be!

This review is a bit delayed but SLVS carried out a service & MOT on my campervan back in June (2024) and did a great job. It failed its MOT on the brakes but these guys sourced the discs and pads AND fitted them all on that same day. I was hugely grateful as I was sailing to Ireland with my campervan the next day, so getting it all done on the day was imperative …… and they didn’t disappoint. Cheers guys 👍🏼

Our car wasn't running well when we were away on holiday, an engine warning light came on.
We dropped in on Friday and asked if someone could look at it. He stopped what he was doing and did a diagnostic check. He explained what showed and cleared the error messages. He told us to come back if it came back on. He didn't want anything for his time or trouble. It came back and it we booked it in for repair the following Monday. Fantastic service from this garage. A big thank you to all. Would definitely recommend.
