Beautiful bay. But remote, no facilities. You need to be reasonably able to get down onto it, too. Either deep steps or a scramble over lower rocks depending on your entrance down off of the coast path. 2 mile round trip from Padstow.
Steep gradients at times. Rough under foot at times, too.

It’s nice. Not easy to get down to for the less abled. Also strong tidal currents and warnings about the sand so not ideal if you are letting children roam or lack confidence in the outdoors. The beach is on a river so not a classic the only real waves are from boats. Good for a dip or walk and great views all around this area.

beautiful! the views across the estuary and out to sea are stunning, and although there are patches of very soft sand, we found it relatively easy going under foot. not ideal on a windy day!

The Cornish coastline is beautiful. We are blessed to have such stunning beaches here in England. Very clean. Plenty of bins around and about. Lovely.

A great cove to while away the afternoon sun, a short walk from Padstow. Up past the war memorial and along a bit. When the tide is out can walk for miles and when the tide is in you're restricted to the cove itself. Lovely sand and is protected from all winds bar northerly.

Walked down from padstow harbour town centre.had a lovely walked.was just about to go down on to beach but was told no dogs allowed and there is a sign..right at the bottom of the trail path ive took photos of sign and theres no sign down the narrow sandy part by rocks .My wife went on beaches said there was lots of dogs on beach..As my friend was fined last year £100 at one of the beaches in Hayle I didn't take the chance.
