Amazing experience as land lovers from the central parts of the uk will fall in love with this pristine beach. It is a treat for both the grown ups and the kids as there is a fair share of fun things to do for both.

Nice beach. Ample paid parking space right next to it. Green patch to sit and have view of the beach. Kids play area as well. Ice cream shop/vans available, with queue on a sunny day. We spent 4-6 hrs. Sandy beach but has a portion with pebbles, can bbq/cook if you fancy . Overall nice place to go if you have done the lake already . By afternoon 3 sandy part gone with tide.

Very clean and pretty beach! Can see the Isle of Man on the horizon. Perfect spot to watch the sunset, although I am a little biased as we got engaged here 😍

No sand just pebbles so our little dog would not go down on to the beach itself but we enjoyed ourselves. Called into the cafe very nice

This is our new favourite beach when we visit our mum. It's nice and relaxing, plenty of places to sit. A nice cafe that does takeaway too. Public toilets but the cafe do not mind people using theirs. A good play area for children. Plenty of grassy area for people to sit and have a picnic if they want. We plan on doing a bit of a coastal walk next time we visit. There is a short pebbly section but then it's all sand that's good for sandcastles. Just be mindful of the tide times as it does come in fast. You pay for parking but it is reasonable. We paid £3.50 for 4 hours. We are planning a whole day for our next summer visit.
