Found this walk by chance after having food at a nearby restaurant.
This walk is perfect to either work up an appetite or to walk off a bit of food overload.
Along the way are benches to take a break as well as a place to get a cuppa or food for the walk.
There's also some dog treats, dog ice cream and duck food on sale in a little hut that also does kayaking.

The walk stretches for a fairly far distance and there's a few places to park that are free.
I'd highly recommend this walk more so on dry days so you can stop off and have a picnic with the family. It's dog friendly and you get bikers there.

There is also a lot to see on the way both in nature and with canal locks and a beautifully made stone bridge.

I'll definitely be coming again as its quite peaceful with water and wildlife on either side. Even with the road just over the bushes it doesn't take away from the beautiful setting.

Lovely experience. Friendly,helpful staff. Drinks and snacks amongst a beautiful setting along the Neath Canal which should be totally restored. The cappuccinos were amazing 👍 Will definitely return.

Great place to rent canoes, kayaks and paddle boats from. Been here twice now. The give you the gear and also some tips and instructions on how to use the equipment. Very friendly people.

There’s a small cafe that sells coffee, dessert, ice cream and duck food.

We called into the South Wales Adventure café on the Resolven canal. We had a nice tea and coffee. The service was friendly and good, the prices very reasonable. There is canoe and paddle board hire here too, though my wife and I didn't use them.

Had a great morning trying paddle boarding for the first time. Great service, well organised, great location, beautiful scenery, safe social distancing, lovely paddle boarding and lovely coffee!! What more could you want!

Great little hour dog wasn't too keen, friendly service. The only negative the young lad spoke too quietly about the safety talks and we were quite far away from him so we didn't catch everything however he was quite nervous, keep going young man you are doing great. Cafe service was fab too.

This was the only place that welcomed my company! Gethin and Mike were so friendly despite me being a little late. Small business with lots of charm. The great-tasting coffee after an hours paddle was spot on. The canal was peaceful with quite a bit of wildlife within the water. Even the chinwag with the walkers was enjoyable. Oh, and apparently this place serves the BEST vegan cheesecake in the whole of South Wales. I missed out as they obviously ran out of slices 😂 thanks for having me guys!

Great day out on the canal... hired a canoe for me and my daughter. She absolutely loved it. Great to build her confidence up and had a nice bit of lemon cake afterwards. Very helpful and friendly staff. Thanks guys
