We completed a 6 day itinerary from Winchester to Eastbourne last June and cannot recommend South Downs Discovery enough! Paul was a dream to work with from start to finish! The walk pack was especially appreciated; it was comprehensive and contained detailed itineraries and recommendations for food stops on the way. B&B accommodations, including the hosts, were lovely as well. Thank you South Downs Discovery!

Fabulous, efficient, professional and knowledgeable company. Booked a great walking trip for half of the South Downs way. A new experience for me. Accommodation, locality to amenities and dinner recommendations were spot on. All information and maps provided and baggage transfer without a hitch. Cannot recommend enough and booking again for autumn to complete the second half.

Just back from the South Downs Way with Discovery. Paul's arrangements all worked smoothly and everything went well. Accommodation was excellent and all concerned coped with us drenched walkers - horizontal rain one day. Highlights for us were the Cathedral in Winchester, the Chanctonbury Ring, and the Seven Sisters (a great end to the trip - Winchester start has its advantages). Would recommend Discovery.

We did The South Downs Way in 6 days and it was a brilliant, rewarding (although challenging!) experience. I couldn’t fault South Downs Discovery. They provided good, timely information and responded well to all questions. All accommodation was comfortable and we were warmly welcomed by our hosts. Our luggage was transferred seamlessly and the walk itself was amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend using this company.

My wife and I walked the South Downs Way in in 8 days in late May 2024 with all accommodation and luggage transfers organised by South Downs Discovery. Paul's organisation was excellent and it all worked as he had planned.
His documentation includes a very helpful bespoke tailored booklet. This had all of the details for our trip, possible refreshment points en-route, key navigation tips, points of interest on the way and dinner suggestions. Also, he marked the most important locations in the map booklet which he supplied.

From booking to completing the walk the service was excellent. Maps, book and personalised walk booklet contained all the information we needed, in one place. Bags were collected & delivered on time. Every B&B, pub or hotel was different but of good quality each with it's own points of interest. Minor en route issues were dealt with & resolved promptly. Brilliant service from a company to be highly recommended.

We had a fantastic walk on the South Downs Way over 8 days. Starting at Winchester and finishing at Jack and Jill windmills at Clayton. Paul was very helpful and understanding when we suddenly had to postpone our trip through illness and managed to rearrange everything for a later date. All of our accommodation was lovely and the hosts were wonderful.
