My first time at this museum and it has some interesting aircraft inside but also plenty of history as well a great fire brigade history, but you get to see a Sunderland in all its glory there is plenty inside this place and is well worth the money to enter.

Great place to visit a lot to see and history to learn. There are some great displays inside. More than just aircraft to find here. I parked in the Ocean Village multi storey car park nearby, but there is parking in the street using parking ticket machines.

Excellent, excellent museum. Plenty to see and a hidden gem in a sprawling city. A highly informative and engaging range of displays which chart the development of various aviation aspects over the years. An interesting range of aircraft, mostly authentic examples now retired and some very rare. We also had the treat of a free flight deck tour on the Sandringham aircraft - a very detailed and interesting talk by one of the museum's dedicated volunteers. Entry price was very, very fair considering all there is to see at the site. Ample street parking close by, access to hot and cold drinks inside (self service with an honesty box), and so much to see, so plenty of space for visitors to wander freely and take in the exhibits. Definitely worth a visit and I will be back myself at the earliest opportunity!

Lovely little tucked-away museum.
Very unassuming place but lovely, knowledgeable staff with a very impressive amount of exhibits to see.
You wouldn't think so much would be tucked away in this place but it was great.
Spent about 2 hours here easily.

Parking, there is none on site but plenty of road parking nearby (pay at metre) or for a little walk you can park in ocean village car park.

I have much love for Aviation, and as a Northern Irish traveller to Southampton, this was on my bucket list to see. Southampton has a wonderful history, and this Museum pays homage to the aircraft builders of the area of a time during WW2, there is also major respect to local Fire and Police services with a few dedicated floors to them. Your aircraft on show is pristine, very up close and personal, and the staff are a delight and full of all the right facts, and this truly was one of the highlights of my trip to Southampton. You have a beautiful collection! Long may it last, and may you continue to educate the young and old of times gone by! My 5 year old daughter loved it… and she was so engaged in the chat about ejector seats with your staff. Great memories!

I was quite fascinated by the place. Totally enjoyed my time there. My friend and I got tickets £10 each to tour the place. They offer hot drinks for as low as £1. It's a nice tourist attraction.

Absolutely excellent little museum. They make the best possible use of the space they have and there's lots more to see than I expected.

I was especially impressed with the staff who were very knowledgeable about the aircraft and happy to chat too.

Highly recommended for anyone remotely interested in aviation. Sadly, I found out I would be too tall to have been allowed to fly a Harrier, but enjoyed the opportunity to sit on the cockpit regardless.
