We did the Discover Snorkeling session a few weeks ago and it was amazing from start to finish. Booking was easy with Genine letting us know what would happen, where to meet and what we needed to bring. She's super friendly and knowledgeable of the sea life in the area and explains what you're likely to see making the session really enjoyable.

I'd recommend Snorkel Wild to anyone local or visiting the area.

I got a 1-2-1 session for beginners as a present. I was nervous because I was new to it but Genine is amazing and so lovely that within minutes I was relaxed and excited for the session. She talked me through how it would work and went through underwater signals and safety info. Not longer after that we were in the water practising skills and what to do if water gets in. Then we got in and went exploring around rocks and kelp forests. I can honestly say I've never experienced anything like it. I felt like a mermaid or something. The wildlife was so beautiful and diverse. We saw crabs, jellyfish, loads of fish plus the seaweed and kelp was so colourful. I didn't think it would look like that in the UK. Plus Genine had a camera and took loads of photos and videos and sent them after.
I can't recommend her enough!!

I did the learn to snorkel session on 3rd August. It was fabulous and I would highly recommend it. There's so much to see under the water off Coldingham Beach and Genine is so knowledgeable about the local area and the Berwickshire Marine Reserve.

We had an amazing day with Genine and saw loads of marine life. Genine took time to explain everything we were going to see and gave us a detailed safety briefing, so although it was our first time snorkelling in Scotland, we felt very calm and safe. The equipment provided was very good quality and kept us warm. Genine was also very understanding and flexible when we had to reschedule due to illness and disruptions to public transport. We'd definitely book again with Snorkel Wild!

We had a brilliant experience with Genine from SnorkelWild.
Everything was well organised to the last detail, teaching was balanced with practical experience and discussion afterwards.
We had no equipment ourselves so we were well kitted out with wetsuits from St Veda’s Surf Shop and the rest of the snorkelling kit from Genine.
The time in the sea was magical from the first moment. The tide was falling and we saw how the rocks seemed so much more ‘alive’ underwater, a wide variety of seaweeds wafting in the water, crabs scuttling on the seabed, fish, wee jellies and ctenophores billowing like transparent cushions. The kelp forest was awesome.
An experience to try out and also to repeat.

Genine took out boys out today for a guided tour to help build their confidence in the water, and they have had such an amazing time! She is an excellent teacher and a very calm and patient presence, brilliant with kids and their parents too. An experience they will always remember, and I am sure we will be back 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
