Smyths has an amazing variety of toys — there’s something for every child! The staff are always helpful and friendly, making the shopping experience even better. My kids love it so much they never want to leave! A must-visit for families.

What a lovely experience. Shopping for a double pushchair for my newborn and 2 year old grandsons yesterday. Ellie was fantastic. Explaining everything that we needed to know. Offered a fire engine toy to amuse the elder grandson. We purchased the joie pushchair and are now awaiting delivery. Ellie was friendly and very helpful. Thank you

Came in today with my partner. I must say BOB is a star. Thank you very much for all of your help. He made sure we wasn’t just rushed but had a great experience for my nephew. BOB, thank you. Give this guy a promotion he’s amazing.

Went in for gifts and also took interest in car seats. Approached by a very polite friendly young lady who offered assistance, she answered all my questions competently so much so after leaving the store we decided to return straight away and purchase 2 car seats . Her initial welcome and interaction gave me the confidence to return and make the purchase . Good sales staff are hard to come by and this young lady did everything you as a company would want from an employee.

Bingo... This is the one my baby wants to come every time. So how to reach here? Just take 407/410 from West/east Croydon station and walk just 5 min from the purley way station. You can find here Aldi and M&S so it's a combo for you if want to biiiiig shoping. This is really wonderful place and cheap toys compared to others (some of the toys!!!). It opens from 10am to 20pm on weekdays and till 18pm on weekends. Pleanty of car parking available if you drive to there. Enjoy your child's favourite place...

I can understand about clothes and furniture stores but NO drinks of any kind allowed in the croydon store Being inforced by a store manger who looks young enough to be my son and a security guard who just points at a A4 piece of paper, but will let other drink holders in the store whilst being challenged.
This seems to be just a case of workers that can not be bothered to get a mop and bucket out if there is any spillages.
Me and my wife normally spend over a £1000 for our kids on birthdays and Christmas so we took our money and went in to smyths in Staines with no problems about drinks as stated in the photo.

My 1-year-old niece is more likely to throw her milk everywhere but I guess even a baby has to suffer while the parent browses the store.

Croydon store is going to have a hard time when people start collapsing to the floor from dehydration or any means because they can't even have a drink of water.

The managers and security guard was so dismissive and unprofessional When i challenged their "Policy" I do think they need a revaluation in customer service.

To end this review, I do think there are better Smyths with better choice of stock and far better customer service around If you're willing to drive a bit of further.

I respect the need for security, but it appears that the current staff member could benefit from training in customer service. Ensuring that security personnel engage with a more considerate and professional demeanor would improve the guest experience significantly.
Your 'no drinks policy' also appears to be quite rigid and may not take into account certain circumstances - it is not enforced for everyone, nor a Smyth's store requirement, so I would recommend reviewing this current setup to a more flexible approach.

Bought a 3 in 1 travel system, baby coat and a baby sink bath. It was a lovely experience. The staff Helen helped a lot with the purchase. She gave the best suggestions and advice 😍😍
