From an initial wonder around until handover of a motorhome SMC have been amazing. NO pressure, relaxed atmosphere and being made part of the family has made an impression on me.
They do what they say they are going to and when they promise.
Highly recommend and no comparison to the other dealerships I visited, there was a fair few.

Excellent service from SMC when we purchased our second hand motorhome nothing was too much trouble we were made to feel very welcome by everyone we met
some items needed attention on viewing before purchase these were all put right along with other items we did not notice
The team gave a comprehensive handover with no rush
We did have slight issue when we collected the MH but this was quickly attended to
The hamper was a lovely surprise and the complimentary night stay was great I would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a MH to check out SMC

I’ve just purchased a new motorhome. I have to say that the buying experience was superb. SMC Motorhomes were great from initial point of contact, my first visit, several calls later with Chris in sales, through to a handover process with Spike and Martin. The customer service was excellent. I would certainly recommend SMC Motorhomes!

Sales.
A huge choice of new and used motorhomes. Access to all the motorhomes is readily available without having to track down a sales person, of which there were several available, that gave me the opportunity to really get the feel of a couple of motorhomes I had my eye on, and to dismiss one of them due to not being quite right for me. I’ll keep an eye on the website for the model and spec I’m looking for.

Parts department
I can’t say the same for the parts side. When I first went in there were numerous customers waiting but no staff at the reception desk. I waited around for 5 minutes then decided to go look at another motorhome. When I can back 20 minutes later, there were still two customers waiting and the reception desk was still empty. I could see staff in the adjacent office, all looked busy at computers, no one came out to see to me or the gentleman waiting ahead of me.
Eventually a lady came and sat at the desk, spoke briefly with the gentleman but didn’t ask me if I needed any help. All I wanted was a price on a Calor Gas bottle exchange, when I asked her she told me I’d have to wait until the gentleman had been served. I was given the impression only one person was capable of ascertaining the price, and it wasn’t her - not my job kind of attitude.
I waited a couple more minutes then gave up and left.
Really bad customer service from the parts department. Really needs some additional staff, preferably someone who can get off their backside to answer the simplest of queries.

Thank you so much to Simon at SMC. When we first arrived Simon made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble for him and his vast knowledge of the motorhome helped us decide exactly which Pilote to buy. As we were newbies Simon took time in explaining all we needed to know. He was very approachable and answered all our queries. We have been to other Dealerships, but SMC tops everybody with your friendly staff, professional knowledge and experience
When we arrived for the handover, Mark took us through the exterior and interior and explained how everything worked again very knowledgeable.
I would recommend SMC To all friends and family who are interested in becoming motorhome owners

What a great set of people ,we visited this dealer a good few times and spoke to Chris and explained what motorhome hope we wanted and and things that would work for us .
It was a good couple of months later at the NEC motorhome home show we came across Chris again .
Top bloke took time out to go through everything and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted .
I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone .If fact we have do hope that they find what they are after .
