Liked: It was sunny, security man was lovely

Disliked: There was no waste point to empty grey waste, no hose to clean toilets out in designated area. Security were always driving round through day but not on a night, a large family group behind us were still at it and playing music after midnight. We were in a caravan so not so bad but the people who were sleeping in awnings weren’t impressed. The toilet block for our field had only 2 showers and they were okay but not cleaned very well. Kids had crawled under the doors and locked most of the toilets and no staff cleaner came down often, only put new paper in when did. Families with kids it’s great, lots for them to do in the club but we”ll not be back. If the price is rammed up during school holidays I expect the facilities cleaned and tidy and security.
For paying 42 a night it was disappointing really. We’ve family next door at Far Grange and their public toilets in club, bars and swimming pool are clean, tidy and beautiful. They’ve changed all the names and all the numbers of the pitches but not labeled any of them so none of them match the new maps. Absolutely ridiculous.
I used to stay at Skirlington a lot over years but not now.

We are just back from a lovely stay at skirlington. |We were apprehensive after seeing some negative reviews but our experience was highly positive.|Our static caravan was brand new and spotless. It was well equipped and had most things we needed apart from towels and a hair drier . Take some camp chairs as there is no patio furniture. We also took a fan .|The only thing to mention is that the new vans have no WiFi . Cue annoyed teen. You can get it in public places. |The pool is small but fine for kids. |There is no access to the beach due to erosion but there are some lovely beaches nearby. |The chippy is tasty and the wonky donkey is basic pub food but fine when you don't want to cook . Pub a bit overpriced.|The park was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. |A special mention to the entertainment team. Their attention to detail and professionalism is the best I have seen in a holiday park. They worked their socks off every single night and were very slick. It didn't matter if there were 10 or 100 people watching . It was the same level of entertainment which was outstanding. |I would recommend skirlington . We were there on a quieter week before the school holidays so cannot comment on busier times. |

Booked a silver caravan which I believe could have been brand new as it was so clean. ||Very well equipped kitchen with a full sized fridge/freezer and plenty of utensils.||The caravan had a veranda but unfortunately there was no outdoor furniture. ||We enjoyed drinks in the show-bar, and took a walk along the coastal path into Hornsea. On Sunday we enjoyed a look around the market. ||

We have just arrived home from the best 3 nights at Skirlington. The caravan was lovely, clean and in a quiet spot. The facilities on the site far exceeded expectation. The outside bar area and children’s play area is immaculate and modern and the evening entertainment was fantastic, for both adults and children. We were especially impressed with the Britannia Rocks show by the Unity stars. All staff we were in contact with over the weekend were so lovely and friendly too. Can’t fault anything about the site! We’ll definitely be back one day.

We've just returned from a week in Skirlington and it was brilliant. Probably the best time away we've had in a long time. The staff couldn't do enough to help us, nothing was too much to ask and the scenary is stunning!|The van was spacious, spotlessly clean (I have a picky wife and she didn't find anything!) and had everything we needed.|Lots to do in the area including the most amazing ice cream place down the road.|Highly recommended, we'll be back and thank you to all of the hard working staff.

I’m just loving my time here at Skirlington’s coast. All staff are great even down to security and cleaners. The newly opened venue Wonky Donkey and amusement arcade is a must to go. The nice fresh air from the sea is a great help to those who have breathing difficulties. Beautiful fishing pond on the grounds which is free ! Love sitting watching hubby fish. Especially on a sunny day. The market and carboot is a must !
My grandchildren and great grandchildren love the out door park. We’ve yet to try the swimming pool! But I’m adamant at 66 I will try my best to learn to swim at last. Honestly people it’s a beautiful place and it’s just getting better week by week. The only downside is side is no access to beach but can get on the beach nearby. I call this my happy place and my safe place! Because that’s how I feel knowing security are around always. Thankyou Skirlington’s coast 😊

I stayed for a week in a hired van which was in wonderful condition and had everything I needed.|The area is fabulous, cute towns and villages nearby and wonderful hidden beaches. The access to the beach on site is not available - the erosion and risk is very obvious, but others are only a short drive away.|The entertainment is amazing and must visit for anyone, it is highly professional and a wonderful surprise.|It is clear from other views that there is some resentment of change but what I experienced as a first time visitor was very positive.

Stayed in platinum van which was lovely. It had decking but for some reason there was no furniture on it. When we asked about it at the reception she said it was pot luck if you had any. The Wonkey Donkey was nice for a drink but would not rate the food. Staff very friendly in there
