Twice in one day ,
Clair saved my bacon… 1st collected me from a motor supplies in Bridlington in what must be the busiest days of the summer and later on on the very same day ,
promptly turned up at Danes Dyke for a round trip back for a spare steering lock key …..to our caravan site and kept the price sympathetically fair.
Cannot fault… Top people… Thoroughly recommend. * stars

Fab taxi firm. We came to stay at little Eden and had no car and no familiarity with the area. I asked on fb prior if we could use them to collect us from the train station on arrival and they agreed. Smooth booking when ringing, the lovely lady we had Claire for our journeys was just a delight. So helpful, polite and friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for throughout our stay. Reasonably priced too! Will definitely use Simons Taxis again on our next visit. Thank you ? xx

Don't use this taxi firm.
He is very unprofessional and rude .
I only gave him one star because I can't leave a review without it .

He gave me a quote of £10 then as we were driving down a busy main road informed me that I would be charged by whatever the meter said because our destination wasn't in town .
I live in bridlington the place stated on the phone.

At this point I didn't feel like I could get out of the taxi given we were on a busy road.
I was worried about being confronted or being involved in a difficult conversation in front of my two children .
Or being charged anyway because he had to travel to collect us .

When we arrived at our destination .
I offered to pay the 10 pounds as that was what was quoted and I politely let him know that I felt like the way he had dealt with this journey was a little misleading and unfair .
I thought the feedback would be helpful to him
I was calm and reasonable in the way I explained this .

He responded to this by telling me that he will take me back to where we came from for free in a sarcastic way
A little childish in my opinion.

He then called his friend on the phone to discuss the problem and spoke loudly over me whilst informing me that I was being recorded on the cctv .

Then he proceeded to threaten me with calling the police to collect the money owed ( Despite me ready and waiting to pay the price quoted .)

This all happened in front of my son (who is 7 and was feeling worried .)

Simon decided to accept the 10 pounds but blacklist me .
To be fair I wouldn't consider using this taxi firm again anyway .

Unreasonable ,rude and unprofessional.

We have used Simons taxis lots of times and have never had any issues. His prices are very reasonable and he has always turned up on time. We were put off going out before as we always struggled to get home but we never worry about that now.
