One thing you’ll notice is how efficiently run this place is from our friendly initial greeting the comprehensive hand over of the boat and the trial run along the river. The hire fleet all look clean, tidy and very well maintained. Our boat was immaculate and despite being 44ft was very easy to handle ( it’s the Stern and Bow thrusters !πŸ˜‰) Our crew of just 3 had a very enjoyable holiday and should we ever decide to cruise the broads again would definitely choose Silverline Marine.

We had the boat Silver Symphony for 1 week. The boat was spotlessly clean.
The reception people were frosty and rude we were obviously an inconvenience. The guy conducting the boat handover was knowledgeable and friendly.
On Thursday we returned to the yard to have the tank emptied but we're told the pump was being repaired. I offered to return tomorrow but was told not to as that was changeover day and to go to another yard and pay. I did this expecting a refund. At the end of the trip the refund was refused.
At handover I also reported a battery issue which meant we only just started on cold morning's and lost bowthrusters. This was not recorded so I assume the next person to hire the boat will suffer.
I am unable to recommend Silverline Marine, the boat was good but customer service is Faulty towers.

We have just had 10 days on the Broads, given lots of information and a manual to use. Staff so helpful and friendly, boat equipped with everything we needed. Had such a lovely holiday visiting lots of villages, so peaceful and relaxing. One thing we found that despite the weather being very cold some days, the heating kept going off and we had to keep turning it back on but reported to boatyard and sure it will be rectified. Definitely recommend it.

Beautiful well presented boats. Helpful staff that can't do enough for you. Thank you for an amazing holiday. Silver myth was the boat we had. Some reviews have stated a bit old..... Makes no difference the age, it performed perfectly and did everything we wanted it to do.... Old doesn't mean anything.

Nice boats, well kitted out and efficient if not overly friendly service but I guess they get very busy in turnaround day. Easy to get to and good, common sense handover/instruction. Would book from them again which is the main thing.

A fabulous week aboard Silver Solitaire, with the same high standards of maintenance, presentation and service we have had from the Silverline team in the past. All of the boats, whether the newest or the older models are presented in immaculate condition and the welcome, handover and return process was spot on. It's also obvious that the whole team, from the owners to the boatbuilders, engineers and cleaning staff are all proud of what they do. Highly recommended.

Lovely holiday hiring a boat from Silverline Marine. We had a great time although our last day was somewhat spoilt by the frosty reception and unwelcome and rude attitude of the staff at the boatyard on our return. This was a real shame for us and we felt like we were being treated as nuisances.
We returned the boat as we had received it on the first day and had spent time tidying and cleaning it prior to the hand back at 9am on the last day.
The cleaning lady and/or one of the female owners has an attitude and discussed customers to other members of staff when customers are in the car park loading their cars still in earshot. Quite frankly these are unacceptable customer service skills and shows real disregard for other people. My partner left a few clothing items in a drawer in the boat and instead of leaving it at the edge by the boat or simply throwing them away she comes to the car where I am sitting and chucks it inside. I would have rightly picked up all the items off the ground by the boat if she had left them there. I was then accused of taking one of the tea towels from the boat which I then explained was left on the table onboard (why would we steal tea towels?). There was no instruction to put the used tea towels in the black bin bag provided for the bed linen and this was the reason we left the towels there.
There was also an issue with the gas oven which kept turning itself off leaving gas fumes wafting through the interior cabin. We wanted to use the grill to toast bagels in the morning (there was no toaster provided) and it took us an hour to do this. When we mentioned this was received with a few grumbling comments. This could be a dangerous hazard for anyone else hiring the boat.
We will return to the Broads but never to this boatyard and we will make Hoseasons aware. Such attitudes and contempt from the owners towards paying and respectable customers are not tolerated.

On a positive note Andrew the young guy who got us going on the boat when we arrived was very polite and knowledgeable – he knows his stuff. Also the older guy in the office sorted us out well.
