Lovely walk around Osborne's Pond and a kick around with my grandson. Sat on a bench and had a picnic as the cafe has unfortunately closed down. However there is a kiosk selling hot drinks and snacks.
Parking is a bit expensive at £3.50 for 3 hours if you only need an hour or so.

Lovely walk in a frosty day. The paths were very icy but the weather is a bit extreme at the moment. The paths aren't gritted so do take care. I managed to slip on my bottom 😆 no harm done though! Toilet facilities, plenty of parking, lots of playground equipment and exercise equipment. Gravelled paths. Fishing lake. Cafes. Dog friendly so you can have your dog off lead if he is a good boy like my Jack 😁

Great place to take the kids on a hot day. It has a decent size park along with a zip line. It also has a visitors centre which sells loads of bits including food, along with a toilet which is always a saviour when you've got kids. The walk is 5 minutes to it. Definitely recommend.

A fantastic country park plenty of difference routes for walking, cycling or horse riding along the routes there's gym equipment dotted about and a few children's play parks. There's also a good sized fishing.
In the visitor centre, there's a good cafe that serves hot and cold meals. The only letdown is that dogs are not allowed inside, but there is a covered area outside.
Well, it's worth a visit.

We had a really nice couple of hours at Shipley Park today. We did the Trail activity which was good fun. We purchased some duck food from the shop and then fed the ducks on Osborne's Pond. We had a walk around the Park and played on the gym equipment. Back to the shop for some sweets for the kids and a hot takeaway coffee for me before playing on the adventure playground. The grounds were well looked after with lots of wild flowers. Nice afternoon.

Shipley Country Park is lovely, there is so much parking that I'm confident that you will always get a space. It's very dog friendly and there are two playgrounds for children.
There is a cafe, toilets and a visitor centre.
