Really chilled area great for water front walks cycling and beach combing. Lovely place to walk dogs with nature reserve on one side. Avonmouth to the west and lovely views across the estuary towards Wales and the Forest of Dean.

Great service on a Sunday in the summer (May to September ish)with an hourly service to and from Bristol temple meads (winter timetable when they assume no one wants to go there but that is another storey at a cost of £3 return!! The journey takes about 35 minutes

Weekday & Saturday services are more frequent to Avonmouth with a train every two hours - to allow a more frequent service with unfortunately no bus from Avonmouth to Severn beach which was withdrawn (political and money!!) A bus service does goes to Cribbs which does fill the gaps

The station is literally the end of the line though - and there is plenty to do from there - walking, cycling, pottering, bird watching and a heritage trail

There are no facilities at the station other than a shelter - timetables are available on a poster along with other things to do There is a help point

Buy tickets on the train as there is no machine at the station

Very good as usual - one of my favourite walking routes. Maintenance of Parth limited my normal walking route. Still back a bit earlier and managed to get a ln earlier train back to Bristol. Some great views and a very good sunset as per usual. Tide going out when I left.

One of the smallest stations I've ever been to. Barely any trains, it's unmanned, low passenger amount and the busy times are not even the busy ones. In fact this station never gets busy. There's 1 platform which is the reason this station is not busy. I saw it on the GWR map on another station and I thought it must be quite big but when I get there, BOOM! Smallest station in the world. I would, but I feel bad giving one star.

There really is no point in having a train station if trains don't even show up when you need them! More needs to be done to give residents a regular and reliable service into Bristol that is actually useable. Afraid I'll be taking the car next time.

Great service for the local area and the 7.51 to Bristol is always on time every morning. More frequent trains are a necessity, though, which really needs to be fought for.
