Just home from a truly magical trip to Scotland. The highlight of the trip was our tour with Iain through the highlands, Isle of Skye and the island of Mull. I cannot recommend Iain highly enough. He was the perfect guide for our small group. Plans needed to be adjusted and he was able to pivot without hesitation and provide a great experience. for everyone. Iain has a unique take on Scottish history and I learned so much. On top of all this, he is a really pleasant person with a good sense of humor!

The best part of our 2 week trip to the UK was a 3-day Highland tour with Iain! He carefully planned the perfect itinerary for our family of 5 (children 15, 11 and 11)- filled with castles, fairies, animals, Harry Potter and stories of queens and kings. He picked us up outside our Edinburgh AirBnb in a very comfortable and large 9 seater van. Iain filled our driving time with stories, music, poetry and answered all our questions. He knows everything related to history and his gorgeous country. Iain is a true gem in today's world- he talked to and cared about our children, knew when to focus on details and when skip them to hold our interest, personalized our days, and found restaurants and inns that could accommodate families. In the end, he became a part of our family! Do NOT hesitate to book with Serenity Scotland! If you want to visit the countryside and truly get to know the culture, there is no other way to do so. Our family already wants to come back and our 15 year-old insists that she wants to move to the Highlands. Scotland is magical and it's all because Iain brought the land alive.

Iain Stewart was the most professional, gracious and informative guide imaginable. We walked parts of the Fife Coastal Path over 4 days. It was a homecoming for me since my parents grew up in Glasgow and many of my ancestors are from Fife. Iain took genuine interest in the reasons for my trip. I learned so much about my heritage and the history of Scotland in the most experiential and stunning way possible. This truly was a trip of a lifetime and I have Iain to thank for laying the ground work.

I had a very specific itinerary planned for my personalised one day tour of Hadrian’s Wall departing from Edinburgh. Joanne was very accommodating with my ideas and incorporated them all in my perfect day out. It was a real highlight of my time in the UK and will never forget it. I just wish I had had more time to explore Scotland with Serenity. I highly recommend using Serenity Scotland for any time you have planned in that beautiful part of the world - Iain and Joanne know it like no one else.

We could not have asked for a better experience with Iain as our guide. We had planned the outline of a trip with our travel agent and expected that we were hiring a driver to get us from place to place, but Iain was so very much more. He was completely in tune with our preferences and made each day a fantastic experience. He even made dinner reservations for us! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Scotland as well as the geography and important sites, and we learned so much while enjoying the beauty of the country. Were we to plan another trip to the UK, we would definitely work with Iain again. Thank you, Serenity Scotland!

We can't say enough about our recent travel time with Iain (Serenity Scotland) in the Highlands!
We arrived hoping the driver who would help us get from place to place was both capable and congenial. Iain was both and so very much more! What a joy to be picked up each morning and spend the day seeing unbelievable beauty and also learning the history and culture of it all -so beyond any expectations.
We four hope to return for another trip guided by the fine folks at Serenity Scotland!

This past June 2024, was our third tour with Iain. We were so excited for the opportunity to tour with him again. We were at a conference in the Lake District of England and he kindly picked us up and toured us through the “Borders”. As usual, we had a fantastic time. The tour is always better than we anticipate. We learn so much, see beautiful sites, do some hiking, eat great food and have wonderful conversation and laughs. We always feel safe and comfortable and stay at lovely Inns.
