My advice is avoid Serenity Holidays/The Gambia Experience at all costs especially the Bakotu Hotel. Everything in this hotel is done as cheaply as possible. The food is very poor. Breakfast is 2 eggs and you can have them boiled, fried or omelette. Cheap white bread, cheapest fruit, everything cheap. Uncomfortable sunbeds with thinest possible foam coverings and very little shaded areas; unsafe pool side area. I fell and bruised my ribs badly and then the management put down mats to prevent any further accidents. My sympathies with the very willing and cheerful staff who had to listen to all the complaints. An expensive mistake not to be repeated.

Unfortunately I cannot put ZERO STARS! This website is a farce. I spent hours looking at holiday options. Finally decide on an accommodation and cost, based on the info on the site. Go through a labourious 'booking' process, including full details, passport info and even booking seats on the plane!, only to be told that it is only a reservation/enquiry and they need to check with the accommodation. Low and behold, the next day I am called to be told not available on those dates! WHAT!!
WHY DOES THEIR WEBSITE STATE 'BOOK THIS'!? It repeats this as a link to 'book' all over it's pages. Beware, I would not waste my time with this company as it all seems very underhand and I believe the aim is to draw you in by wasting your time so much that you end up booking one of the inferior options they try to give you over the phone when they deliver the news that what you wanted isn't available. I have emailed the company so we will see if this does any good and if they decide to make their website more concise and consumer friendly

I travelled with Titan Airways flight ZT791 on the 9th of December, 2022, at Gatwick Airport. I was charged £525 on my debit card, which the Ace agent at the check-in desk said I needed to pay. I informed the agent that Titan has already said they don't charge for luggage and I shouldn't pay but the agent insisted that I should pay and he will contact the Titan customer services
for verification, followed by a full refund of the money.

On the Titan website, it says, "Carriage of excess baggage may be allowed subject to space and availability on the day." Titan Airways does not usually charge for excess baggage".

Unfortunately... I have contacted both Titan and Ace several times, and it seems like they are falsely charging passengers when they shouldn't. Titan referred me to their own website and informed me that Ace should be the one refunding me, not the airline. Unfortunately, I have been left with no other option but to take legal action against Ace Handling and file a formal complaint with the travel ombudsman about the false advertisement projected by Titan and the rogue actions by Ace.

Titan misled me days before my journey, I called you guys to add more luggage, and you advised me that you don't charge for extra luggage and that I should be ok during check-in. despite the fact that you knew it was all lies and that I was going to be duped out of my money.

I am the owner of one of the villas currently advertised on the Sardinian Places website. A few weeks ago the company sent an email out to their villa owners saying that they would not be making payment to us, their suppliers as required by our contract. They have taken payment from customers and are holding that while refusing to pay owners. Having spoken to one of their company directors he confirmed that this was an attempt to resolve "cash flow issues" the company is facing. I have been forced to initiate legal proceedings to recover the monies owed to me by Serenity Holidays trading as Sardinian Places and managed to track down the guests who have booked and paid for holidays in my villa to warn them of the situation as Sardinian Places owes them a full and immediate refund. I am not sure if they have managed to get a refund from the company. I have also asked the company to remove my villa from their website and they have failed to do so. BEWARE if you are thinking of booking with this company, they do not have the legal right to advertise or take bookings for all of the properties on their website and if you have already booked a Sardinian holiday with them, it is highly likely that they have not paid the owners so you legally do not have a holiday booked with them even if you have already paid for it. They have shown extremely bad faith and I personally would advise anyone against dealing with this company.
