Called in for directions. A nice lady gave us a map. Went for 1 hour 20 walk. Great views, had a great ice cream on the return. Car Park very reasonable for paying. Would use again. Not ripped of like others. Worth a trip fir great walks and plenty of scenery. Toilets are open on Sundays to, just leave a donation. We'll worth a trip out 5*

Lovely place to browse a broad selection of books and delighted to pick up my some great street art and animation books. Can't help but wonder if their incredible art and architecture section may do better via online marketplaces as I know there are some collectors who would snap up some of the editions hidden in the shelves here. We picked up a small gift for our little one for a stocking filler and enjoyed the huge amount of leaflets which helped us plot things to do nearby.

A friendly and welcoming tourist information office and second-hand bookshop with a large stock of books in a wide range of subjects. The antique synchronome clock is worth a look, was told that it regulates all the clocks in the building including the one outside. Some nice gifts, useful guides and maps of the Yorkshire Dales and Lakes, and plenty of free info including a list of shops and cafes in Sedbergh where you can get new and second-hand books. Plenty of interest for walkers.Bought a nice little book about themed walks in the Lakes. The man who served me was pleasant and informative.
