Great trip. We were well looked after with all the waterproof and buoyancy kit provided. Our rib driver was knowledgeable and helpful - we even rescued an injured kayaker today! We spotted all the wildlife you could hope to see at this time of year. Highly recommend.

Dolphins, seals and eagles!!!

Had a great 6pm trip for 1 hr just out of the loch and back. Fortunately we got to see dolphins, grey seals, common seals and a couple of white tailed eagles.

The captain was fab and he really made sure we spent time where everyone wanted to rather than sticking to a rigid route plan.

Very friendly and helpful lady at the office/hut by the harbour too.

We had a great time on the boat! Felt very looked after, they even give you some amazing waterproof over suits that make you look like a fluorescent Teletubbie! The captain (Carlos I think was his name) was really friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife. We saw seals, dolphins, porpoise, puffins and white tailed eagles. Sadly no whales this time, but just means we have to go again!

Booked on last min to a tour during our NC500 trip in July. The weather was awful but that didn’t stop us enjoying it! Carlos was very knowledgeable and did his best to keep us out the howling wind where possible(it really was awful weather lol), even did some donuts on the way back into the harbour haha. The lady at the hut has made a lasting impression on me. Myself and my fiancé are on the slightly larger side and I was worried about getting a waterproof suit(any plus size people will understand the fear) however she was fantastic. My fears were for nothing as they have a good few sizes available. All the staff were extremely friendly. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for something to do while visiting.

Carlos was a great tour guide throughout. We thought we were going to peak at seeing the seals, their pups and the harbour porpoises and was happy with that. However, Carlos took us out further and we had a couple of pods of dolphins and their calves come and interact with us and the rib boat.
Then Carlos spotted something out in the distance and of we raced off at an exhilarating pace and low and behold we viewed many humpback whales. A couple came up close to the boat and alerted us to their presence with their blow holed. We also saw some fin whales at this time too. It was an awesome experience and not to be missed. Feel very lucky and Carlos made sure we had a trip to remember - despite running a little late back. The zig zagging and donuts in the rib on the way back to dock was extremely fun too. Superb value for money and would definitely recommend and go on another myself again.

Carlos was a terrific guide for our recent whale watching tour. We didn't see any whales but we had a magical encounter with a large pod of common dolphins! Also, the baby seals with their mamas were such a treat to see.

Absolutely amazing experience.
A must trip when visiting Ullapool…. Brilliant guide giving fab knowledge on local birds and sea life. Humpback whales were seen on a two hour trip we was so lucky….. would 100% do it all again on my next visit.

Carlos was a brilliant guide, showing us around the Summer Isles, sharing about the history as well as the amazing wildlife. He was really knowledgeable about all the marine life around and shared some fun personal stories about them too. We saw common and grey seals, and ended up in the middle of a dolphin pod, with adult and baby dolphins swimming alongside us! We then headed out to find whales, and managed to catch glimpses of minke whales - it was an incredible experience!
