My wife and I had a fantastic 4 hour trip with David and Juliet, aboard the excellent Porpoise II. Both David and Juliet were extremely knowledgeable, and clearly cared deeply about the local area, its wildlife, and marine environment. It was a privilege to be guided by two experienced marine biologists who are both actively involved in conservation projects, and passionate about the work they do.
Being early in the season, we embarked on the trip with no expectations as to the wildlife we might see, but thanks to David and Juliet’s local knowledge we were treated to sightings of seal colonies, wild deer and goats, various seabirds including Shags, Gannets, and a Puffin. We briefly caught a glimpse of a surfacing Porpoise, and the icing on the cake was seeing Sea Eagles, both in the air and perched in trees. Amazing.
David and Juliet went out of their way to ensure that everyone aboard had a memorable and enjoyable trip, and Porpoise II is a fine boat which felt stable and powerful. I highly recommend Sealife Adventures, and my wife and I are eagerly looking forward to our next trip.

I flew down to Sarasota to have a girls weekend with my sister and niece. We wanted to kayak with the manatees and so glad we decided to go with Sealife Kayak Adventures. Our tour guide Andrew was awesome. He was very informative and funny. I highly recommend them!!!

We saw so much interesting wildlife including sea eagles, common seals, porpoise, red deer and gannets. The two guides (Liz and I can't remember the guys name but he was great, so sorry!!) were really friendly and informative. They told us all about the wildlife we saw as well as Scottish folklore, and about local political issues relating to the environment which I think is very important! The scenery from the boat was amazing (we were really lucky and had beautiful weather even though it was forecast to rain!) Really would reccomend this trip.

Had the most brilliant 4-hour wildlife tour today. Surpassed all our expectations. The guides, Liz and Steve, were so knowledgable and friendly throughout the tour and there really wasn’t a dull moment. I had my kids with me (7 and 9) and they were both enthralled the whole time as well.
We saw seals (and pups), porpoises (and a small calf), sea eagles, common dolphins, bottle nose dolphins, and most spectacularly- minke whales, including one breaching which was just amazing.
I know some of this is pot luck, but I really feel we would have still enjoyed the day even with half the wildlife. The hot drinks and biscuits were a lovely bonus.
10/10 recommend to anyone considering it. Excellent day out.

My recent 5-hour tour with skipper David and marine wildlife guide Juliette was the highlight of my days in Oban. The coastline is magnificent and you are in this marine protected area holding big binoculars and spotting animals in the sea and on land... it was just fantastic! They are both so knowledgable about the environment and history of the area, and make this tour very, very enjoyable.

During the tour, I was ill, it was cold and we had pouring rain, and still this was brilliant and a highlight of our trip through Scotland. The guides are passionate, super knowledgeable and really give you an understanding of the nature around you and how precious it is. Would definitely do again!

Btw: Definitely follow the advice to bring warm clothes and a rain coat, but if the rain is really pouring, your guides will have weatherproof pants and jackets for most on board.

We had a great time on a 4 hour trip recently. David and his team were very welcoming and friendly. Their knowledge about the area, wildlife and history was great to hear. We saw our fair share of wildlife - feral goats, sea eagles, seals, herons, sea birds of all shapes and sizes, osprey and we were lucky to see two minke whales.

Scenery is outstanding and getting to see the Porpoises and Minke's through the Corryvrecken was such a treat ☺️
As the cruise progressed it was clear David and Emma really did enjoy there job and are very knowledgeable with lots of interesting information.
They would answer any questions you asked about various things from the seabirds, to rock formations on the islands to the habits of the Minkes etc
4 hr cruise went in so quickly for me and would highly recommend this cruise if you enjoy looking at Marine life and some of the smaller islands.
