We went in for a lottery card a few days ago the woman behind the counter was so miserable and not very customer friendly. No interaction if you can't be friendly in that kind of job its not the one for you love!
Went in again today for stamps another misery behind the counter my mum asked if she could have 4 1st class stamps and the woman said 1 or 2? Mum said again 4 she said 1 or 2 you can only have 1 or 2 as post office shut in a very arrogant manner.
We won't be going in there again.
Get staff that are people friendly because those 2 definitely are not!

Seahouses is a beautiful place to visit.
I always send mum a postcard when I'm away as it's so nostalgic.
Whilst visiting seahouses I bought a couple of postcards and went to a local pub to write one out for mum.
We then walked up to the local post office where I entered and picked up a bottle of cola which I only bought as it seems a little rude to just post a card without purchasing.
I approached the counter to the most ignorant lady, she couldn't even lift her head to acknowledge me.
I asked her if she could send my card for mum and her reply was "put it in the box there" !!
I felt reluctant to do so as I had such negative vibes from this woman.
I did however pop it in the box, I had placed a 1st class stamp on the card.
2 weeks later my 80 year old mum still hasn't received the postcard.
I should have gone with my gut instinct as I said to my husband how awful this so called lady was and I said
how I thought mum won't get the card and she hasn't.

Awful service ordered a parcel that was a mobility aid for my poorly mother states on Amazon and the post office website open until 5 visited at 4.25 to be told they closed at 4.30 had done the paperwork so couldn’t give me the parcel I could see, shame on you disgusting service, rude woman no compassion at all avoid like the plague.

Shocking service!!! Arrived at 16:25 and was told to come back the next day when it clearly states it closed at 17:00. When querying this I was told “well everything is now switched off” and to come back tomorrow.

Unfortunately we have too use the service at the post office in sea house there is two staff on but unfortunately never happy you nearly get a tut out them if you ask for one item come let’s have smile once in a while really poor service

Coast 2 Coast Painters & Decorators. We live in Beadnell so this is our local Post Office. We have always found the people who work there friendly and helpful !

The opening hours shown on the website are inaccurate, this was pointed out to me by the most disinterested and unhelpful human that I have ever encountered behind a Post office counter.

They updated opening times 2 weeks ago. Meant to be open from 7.30am. Still closed at 7.55am
