My experience was great! I got to enjoy all of the culture which was made possible with Seable. One of my favorite experiences that I had with Seable was swimming through the lava caves in the Mediterranean. I also enjoyed the tasting portion of our trip with Seable. I would definitely use Seable again on my next trip to Sicily.

Highly recommend Seable to anyone traveling who is or is traveling with individuals who are blind or visually impaired! Another teacher and I took 5 blind/visually impaired young adults on a trip to Sicily with Seable from Minnesota State Academy for the Blind (USA). They were very accommodating, have great itineraries, wonderful sighted guide and description, as well as local speaking tour guides who are great! They make traveling possible and fun! The students and staff LOVED the trip and were able to feel more confident in their abilities once

Last year, October 2023, I had the honor of participating as a volunteer with Seable Holidays, as a Chaperone, in Sicily, Italy.

The biggest learning I was able to learn on this trip was that when we see the whole person, stripped of preconceptions, we can understand how unique human beings are and that is what is fantastic. Being able to enjoy and discover the world in your own way, and being able to trust someone you didn't know is incredible.

I went with an open heart and full of expectations, and each of them was achieved. The countless memories I created on this trip will certainly remain in my mind forever.

The hosts are also very sweet people, Damiano and Serena made me feel very welcome and I felt very comfortable, as if I had known them for years! Their work is actually very cool and important for society, it makes all the difference in people's lives.

I took part in a Sicily tour for visually impaired people as a sighted guide with Eye Matter in collaboration with Seable Holidays. Where to start…
I had such a great time I did not want to come home! The holiday itinerary was put together brilliantly with a great variety of activities for the group to enjoy. All of the activities were chosen with visually impaired people in mind and everything was very accessible. From the donkey sanctuary to going up on Mount Etna, the city tour and food and wine tasting, every experience was inclusive, informative and above all, a joy to take part in! A lot of our experiences were also yummy, as we had lots of opportunities to taste test local products such as honey, fruits, wine and olive oil.
Our chaperone for the week, Damiano, was a brilliant guide with great knowledge of the local area, places to go to and things to do. From the moment we met him at the airport he was friendly and personable, helping us feel at ease with what was an entirely new experience for all of us. Damiano always made sure we are well taken care of and helped so much with everything, including reading out the endless menu options and helping us order, which we could not have done without. Our evening walks and dinners were a great way to finish our days filled with sunshine, food and laughter.
Serena was our Catania city guide, who also was such a pleasure to meet. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and guiding us around the tactile museum and the city itself.
There isn’t a single thing I can fault, this was an amazing experience as a sighted guide, one I hope to repeat.

Partnering with Seable Holidays for our educational travels was one the best decisions Minnesota State Academy for the Blind international studies club has made! The club, which consists on two teachers and 5 young adult students with visual impairments started out on a journey to find the organization that would best fit everyone's interests and needs. Seable exceeded all of our expectations!
The MSAB club recently traveled to beautiful Sicily and it was amazing! Seable was truly supportive throughout the entire process and set the students up for success and independence. The hands-on learning experiences we engaged in were invaluable—far exceeding what could ever be taught in a textbook. We all left with memories that will last far beyond Sicily. We will continue to use Seable for all of our future travel adventures!

Just returned from Seables first group trip to Eswatini, southern Africa. I had always wondered exactly what I would get out of a safari, not being able to see the animals in front of me. This trip turned out to be so much more than a safari! The amazing descriptions from our sighted guides, along with activities like feeling the shape of animal footprints and learning how to listen to the sounds of the savanna did help join the dots. But it is the memories of Eswatini itself that will stay with me forever. Sleeping under a roof of woven grass listening to the antelopes pottering around outside. Riding a horse through the wildlife reserve as a family of warthogs lead the way. And being sung to by a group of primary school children at a rural school visit. Just a few of the cherished experiences that make the Kingdom of Eswatini the warm, bright and big hearted country that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. If you are blind or vision impaired, I would highly recommend choosing Seable to assist in this adventure. Not only do they take all the stress out of organising such an epic experience, but their attention to detail is second to none…something I was very grateful for when considering things like needing to be guided on varying terrain. With Seable I felt safe, included and able to fully embrace every little joy of this holiday. If you’re even a tiny bit intrigued, do yourselves a favour and book onto the next one…you won’t regret it!

Once again Seable Holidays were brilliant in supporting the students and staff of New College Worcester on their Ski Trip. This is the fourth time we have worked togethe,r to provide the students the opportunity to experience skiing. Seable Holidays' work liaising with Sciable, the hotel and restaurant staff, bus companies enables staff to focus on supporting the students and helps make a very smooth running school trip.
